Great cedar shoe trees, very sturdy and have a very pleasant cedar smell. Nice packaging, and they work great--the sizing is very accurate.

This company takes such great pride in their products! You not only read about their commitment to quality on the back of their box, but you feel it in the packaging and presentation. Then you feel the quality....These shoe trees are built to last. The basic design hasn't changed in decades if not a century. So it takes lots of little details to make them feel especially great. The smell of the cedar. The perceived sturdiness in construction. And to top it off, literally, the knobs on top of the tree. I don't know why all shoe tree makers don't include this especially for boot-made models. Boot specific shoe trees with boots attached can get a little heavy. You're not moving them far most of the time. But it certainly helps.And all of this for an incredibly, reasonable cost. I've seen shoe trees costing several times this amount with no noticeable difference in quality.

Ordered these in a size large for my size 9 UK (Size 10 US) oxfords and they fit very well. The spring is nice and firm which keeps pressure on the shoe upper but not overly strong which means insertion isn't too much trouble. I prefer a split toe design for the versatility of fitting multiple shoes and these definitely do a good job forming the vamp and region where the vamp and toe-box meet. Keep in mind that for more pointed toe shoes these will not fill the entirety of the toe-box but they really aren't supposed to anyway because no distress should be happening that far up the shoe.The build quality is definitely top notch as far as I can tell. The only issue I had was that the heels on both shoe trees had a bit of a pointed edge but that was easily taken care of with some fine grit sand paper. The gold nameplates are also a nice touch.These are made of legit cedar heartwood and very nicely sanded so there aren't any rough edges other than the aforementioned heel edge, however the toe and heel of these trees aren't quite as rounded as the product images (see my pics for reference). The aroma from these is pretty intoxicating and trust me you will have an urge to take a whiff every time you handle them.Overall I would give them a 4.5/5 and a thumbs up. For half the price of some big name shoe brands I don't think you can go wrong with these.

These shoe trees are an excellent value. They are well made, nicely finish, and the width adjustment is a great feature. Another nice feature is the smaller size increments which provides a more accurate fit. I purchased the size 10-11 which fit both my size 10 EE and 10 1/2 DD shoes perfectly.

elegant looking good quality shoe tree. bought a while back but still very good and serve the purpose. keep my shoes in good shape.

Nothing to dislike about these shoe trees. They are well-made and, because of the adjustable features, fit perfectly. They are the same as the ones I purchased at a high-end men's store several years ago but at a much better price.

My Stratton shoe trees arrived today....very pleased, good quality, great smell, perfect fit. For the price these were a great buy. Highly recommend

Wanted to try this as I wasn’t happy with the expensive shoe trees I ordered with my new pair of leather sneakers.The moment I opened the box I was convinced that these were cedar. And the fit is perfect.Now I know which shoe tree to order when I buy leather sneakers again.

Bought some florsheims and wanted to preserve shape of shoe. True to their other reviews, Stratton make great shoe trees. Not much in way of smell, but looks like American Red Cedar, and the wood is smooth! My shoe size sat between the small & medium size and I went for the small. Just as well as it is a snug fit, but fits great and completely fills the shoe. Overall very satisfied! Thank you Stratton - will buy again!

needed a shoe tree to stop some brogues from creasing, and these trees do this well. Being made from cedar and adjustable they keep my shoes in great condition and smelling great. will be getting another set of these soon
