Who can install these batteries? Everything I have read indicates gen 1&2 airpods cannot be opened without destroying them.

Unless you have the exact tools and soldering gun the temp control is critical and special waterproof glue to seal you will destroy your ear pods and a work bench and a magnifying light . And a lot of patience. I did it but messed 1 of them up. So all that being said I do not recommend. On a scale of 1 - 10 it's a 11 Hope this helps
