Worked right out of the box
Just received today. My outdoor faucet is behind some shrubbery that is not easy to get at. I was hoping this could help me out. Setting up was easy. Just added 2 AA batteries to unit and downloaded Smart Life app to my phone. A couple of tries and blue tooth was established . Took the valve outside and connected to my faucet and hose. I turned the valve on and off through my phone . I was controlling the water no problem. I had no problems with leaks. This is what I had been looking for and it serves my need.

Not bad but water scheduling does not work
I currently use a analog water timer but wanted one where I can easily turn it on or off using my phone no matter where I am as well as set up a regular watering schedule. This timer ALMOST fit the bill.PROS: Easy to set up and the manual on / off feature works fine even I am no where near my house. It keeps a record of my watering history, and the app is easy to use. So two stars there.CONS: BIG con is that the watering scheduling function simply does not work. I can set up a schedule to water every day for 10 minutes starting at 5am and it either does not turn on at all or turns on 10 min or up to one hour later. The biggest issue is that when it does turn on, it does not always turn itself off once the timer schedule is done. So I could set it to water for 10 min and it may never turn itself off after 10 minutes and keeps watering for hours and flood my backyard. I even reached out to Amazon and got a replacement but the replacement had the same issues. I reached out to the manufacturer and they offered a full refund as I think it is a known issue so they get an additional star for good customer service.Overall I wanted to like this water timer but unreliable schedule function makes it a deal killer and I had to return it.

fitting cracked
the fitting that attaches to the spigot on the house has cracked and leaks after 4 months. I contacted Amazon and they are sending a replacement. other than that they work pretty well.Update, I had purchased three of these and all three have the connector cracked now. I did not leave them outside over winter they are not overtightened but the connector that connects to the house Spicket cracks and starts leaking. Now these items are unavailable by the manufacture that I purchased from but there is a new item that looks exactly the same and has the same advertising being sold by someone else without the era gold stamp on the front. I think the company realized that they have a crap product and had bad reviews and discontinued under one and started up on another seller or name. Amazon should not allow this.

Simple, easy, better than manual timers.
I have gone through several water timers in the past 4 years and the electric variety I got where you have to manually program it on the screen of the device would either constantly die or reset even though battery charge is fine. I actually lost some plants because I was unaware my schedule got reset. Very annoying.Very pleased so far with this Bluetooth timer and will now have the ability to check from the comfort of my home as well as history and setting a rain delay without having to go out into the rain to set it. MUCH better!

Really like the ap for it!
I bought two... I absolutely love how you can set up so many different times and days on the ap (smart life). However if you need to change anything, I have a hard time connecting back up to it via wifi, but once its connected to my phone then its good to go. (Note, you need to be near the timer, in order to make changes) This unit itself seems durable enough, but since its all plastic I am concerned of how well it will hold up after a season in the sun. Will update if there is problems.

Customer service is responsive
customer service responded to my review and offered me a partial credit. I'm good with electronics and devices, so I took the negative reviews with a grain of salt. Original set up was not difficult. After one week of setup the timer would always show as disconnected. I replaced batteries and it worked once while I was standing next to it, but I checked them afterward with a battery checker and they still had full power. Even the schedule I set up will not work in this disconnected state, which is too bad. Very expensive push button water faucet for me! especially since my main apartment is up a flight of stairs from the spigot. If you order anyway, don't put off setup because you only have 30 days to return.

Does not work
I’ve had this now for two months. I was hopeful that the Bluetooth functionality would work fine but it does not. The first day I hooked it up I was impressed. Everything seemed good and the timer function worked great. But the next day the device indicated that it was unconnected. I removed the device and reconnected it and everything seemed fine until the next day. I had the same unconnected message. Now I can’t get it to add the device at all! What a disappointing purchase and waste of time!

Says smart timer but this is a joke
The app had an option to use without creating an account so that is what I did because one more smart app on my phone was not the goal. This was cool because it did not need one. However after setting it up which was a painful experience compared to other smart products it works overnight then the timer loses its BT connection and cannot maintain its schedule. So while its not broken it cannot complete the task of watering at specific times…. So dumb.Sorry guys for now stick with the basics.
