Woop woop! All you need.
I've dropped mad stupid money on putting mats and such but this little ramp is ALL YOU NEED. It's fantastic. Because the ball comes back. Simple and perfect, just like toilet paper.

Nice Addition to Putting Mat
I bought a putting mat that didn’t have holes in it, so I bought this so I could see if I was making putts. It does a good job of mimicking hole and is interesting because it helps you focus on speed and direction. Also has small dots on it so you can aim small which is a nice feature.

Great for practicing short putts
This is a great tool for practicing shorter putts, especially those within about 5-6 feet. You can definitely use it for longer putts but the ramp only returns the ball about 3 feet so longer putts won’t come back far enough for you to rake the ball back for your next putt. If you can make all your putts within 5-6 feet, your scores will definitely come down. Phil Mickleson has a 100 putt drill that requires you to make 100 putts in a row from 3 feet so practicing putts from 5-6 feet is plenty for working on your consistency. Getting the ball to stick in the smaller hole is hard and requires the right speed as well as right direction. When I’m in the groove, I’ll get 4-5 in a row to stick in the small hole. However I actually prefer that it doesn’t stick in the hole because then I have to reach over and knock the ball out of the hole with my putter to continue.I think that if you can get the ball to click or catch briefly in the smaller hole, then it was a good putt even if the ball doesn’t stay in the small hole. These kinds of drills are most important for golfers playing in tournaments or who play more seriously with friends. That is, no “gimmes“ or “inside the leather” agreements. The device folds up nicely and you can easily put it in your bag to take to a practice green to warm up if you want to. Sometimes practice greens get quite crowded and you may not have a free hole to putt to so this can give you your own private area to practice.I haven’t used the hole for the alignment stick yet but I’m sure it would help with keeping your putter stroke on line going back and through.I have not had any problems with durability or construction. It seems quite sturdy. It’s possible that the person reporting problems here with the little cup breaking was pushing it out forward instead of backwards as it is designed to be used.

Pricey but Great
The classic and cheaper version is good enough if you want to save a few bucks, but I’m happy with this purchase. Works great, you can really tell the difference between a “perfect” putt versus the ones that are just good enough to get a rollback. It’s for sure tough to get it to click but golf is a game of imperfection so don’t let the “perfect speed” frustrate you. Think of it has a way to tell you when you’ve made a great stroke so you can replicate the feel as much as possible. If I had any criticism I think it’s the width of the hole, kind of wish it was smaller, just feels like it is too generous with the lip-ins but it’s not too crazy.

Does not Hold an Alignment Stick
I have several of these, I thought it would be nice to have an updated version with the alignment stick holder. We’ll the hole is too barge for a standard alignment stick. I guess you could purchase one of those larger wooden sticks from a hardware store.

Great putting aid
Great putting aid. First time using it, managed to get one balls to stay in the pop up spot. After a few weeks, consistency in getting the ball to stay in the pop up spot is increasing. That accuracy has translated onto the course.

Accept no substitutes.
Nothing is better for showing you what a terrible putter you really are and rewarding you when you get better. Not cheap but excellent build quality and a smart useful golf training aid. If you you are contemplating buying one I can tell you that your putting will get better, as mine did. Golfers need this. If you have one in your life by it for them.

Zoller Putttrainer
