I have done a LOT of these diamond art projects. A LOT. This is my first, though, with square drills as opposed to the round drills. And it's the first time I ran out of a particular color of drills.Let me speak to running out of the drills first. I am not sure if that was my error or the manufacturer's but I contacted them and they answered within hours. Promised to send plenty more and they did. So that actually turned out to be a very small issue, easily resolved. The only thing it cost me was some time and since I do this for pleasure/hobby/pass time, it was not a problem.Now about the square drills. I just didn't realize they were square when I received the painting. I was so entranced by the picture itself, I didn't even bother to read much about it or take in the little I did read. I thought perhaps the square drills might be easier than the usual round ones but didn't find this to be true. The square ones are not quite as forgiving as the round ones, so if you make a mistake, it's hard to move forward without pulling/pushing/picking up and replacing them. The mfg does provide a nifty set of tweezer type things though that help with this. I used them a LOT!! I frequently had to make adjustments here and there to get it together. I also found that the sticky surface wasn't quite as sticky as I am used to so heavy pressure is needed to seat the drills. Maybe this kit is for more advanced, more agile, better eyesighted folks than me.But in the end, I like the picture. I mounted it on fiberboard and covered it in mod podge like I do all of my diamond art. I find that helps hold the drills which tend to fall off, sooner or later, no matter the brand. The mod podge does take some of the shine out but I am more interested in those drills staying put.

Down to the end and I am short on a color. Disappointed that I will need to fill in with other colors.

The square drills was very difficult in the beginning ,however as I pressed on to finish it. I now,I am very pleased with it. I am looking forward to my next square shape painting with diamonds set.

It’s a good way to distract yourself I also like how there’s extra pieces in case you lose some of the small diamonds

I love this!! At first I was a little afraid as they are squares instead of circles and they are much smaller than the circles. But it made the picture so much more detailed!! The quality is great! They even send a really nice pair of needle nose tweezers with your tool set.

This is a beautiful picture, and if all the drills were the same size, it would be the perfect piece. Some colors are thicker making the pieces tend to pop up.

This picture is amazing and I love the square beads they fit together perfectly and I can't wait till it is finished.

First square drill project for me. A learning curve but overall very nice.
