Awesome axe
Great axe, use for NATF axe throwing!! Had to cut the handle down to meet regulations but love the feel and the blade

Love the axe gang
These are not my main throwing axes but they are great for trickshots whichs is why I have two of them anyway. The trick is to cut about 4 ¾inches off the bottom and then wrap the handle in a cloth tape before throwing. I recommend hockey tape. I have been throwing mine off and on for 8 months now. No problems.

Unimpressive.
The handle feels solid. But the axe head, atleast in my case came very scratched up and incredibly dull. Like to the point where I could hit something and it would just bounce off.

Weird graining in handle. Cracked after a couple throws
The grain on this axe had a knot that went 6 inches to the end of the blade. It cracked after a couple throws. I should have known better. Not a fan of cold steel.

Bad handle material
The Cold Steel name is what leaned me in this direction for a throwing ax. The head is beautiful, good weight for throwing. After three throws, the handle split lengthwise, with the grain. Sure expected more, but I didn’t listen to the other reviewers.

Weak handles
I just bought these axes and received them today. I threw them 3 times and it resulted in a crack half way down the handle. I am hesitant to throw the other two i spent the money on now
