This 'snake light' like rechargeable LED neck reading light is not at all heavy and is simple to useI use the light mainly for reading in bed and find that it illuminates the pages of magazines and books in a very nice and 'soft' manner.The lights on each side have a button each with foour presses - 1: lower light [one LED], 2: higher light [different LED] 3: Stronger light [both LED] and this, in effect, gives six light settings [3 on each 'arm'.The light comes with a recharge cable that is long enough for purpose with one end for the light and the other for plugging into a standard USB [A] charger. I wear the light with the USB cable, unplugged from charger, still plug in light and find it is still comfortable - not so easy to mislay the cable!I have also used the light at my arts and craft desk so that I have a variety in light intensity, portability and direction control. The light is great for helping see fine detail on models for example.I have had similar light to this and found they vary in light quality, weight, flexibility and ease of use. I can confidently report that this light is excellent for intended use.

Good quality, neck reading light. Easy to use and light weight

I chose this neck reading light based on the positive reviews, and I'm overall pleased with my purchase. This simple, inexpensive gadget is better than any free standing reading light. It also works very well as a nightlight, if you're wandering around the house but don't want to turn the lights on.The light has 3 settings - you have to cycle through all 3 in order to switch. You can also only use one light instead of both, which is actually enough (depending on the size of the page you're reading).My only criticism is that the LED lights are, if anything, too bright. When reading in bed I could do with a dimmer setting, and my husband, who isn't usually bothered by light, finds it annoying. So unfortunately, reading in bed is out of the question again.I would still recommend this product though - it's extremely versatile and I can imagine it's going to be very useful when travelling.

Not brilliant for positioning but nice and bright, I like how you can the various lighting. It's a nice size and good price.

Now can read in bed without disturbing anyone,,,also can read if people want light switched of in lounge.Lasts quite a long time on one chargeLove it

It does exactly what it says, it has three settings so if it's too bright you can dim it. It's comfortable around the neck, it's not heavy or irritating. The lights are easily positioned, yeah, good stuff.

This is suitable for purpose and a reasonable price.

The item is light weight and turns on and off easily. I would have liked it to be a bit brighter when you set to the brightest setting but over all, it's a good little reading light.

Intended for reading, I found this item quite uncomfortable and had to continually maneuver it to keep it focused on the page.

Die Lampe hat 3 verschiedene Helligkeitsstufen und lässt sich angenehm um den Nacken legen. Sie ist nicht zu schwer. Man kann sie sich ganz einfach zurecht biegen in den Winkel°, den man braucht. Aufladbar per mitgelieferten Mini USB Kabel und leicht zu erkennen: rotes Leuchten = Akku leer, aufladen. Grünes Leuchten = vollständig aufgeladen.Einziges Manko: die Knöpfe zum Betätigen der Lampe wackeln etwas und erwecken so den Eindruck nicht richtig verarbeitet zu sein. Darum nur 4 Sterne von mir.
