The build quality and machining of this trainer balisong is excellent for its low price. The designs on the handle are well-made and don't have any indication of being 'cheap' - it is precise. The material of the handles and blunt-edge blade is metal, giving a satisfying ringing sound as you flip it. It is on the heavier side but feels like it was built to last, something not seen much in cheaper products nowadays. The spring latch mechanism is sturdy, doesn't rattle from being loose, and is quite honestly designed in a simply ingenious way - you can even squeeze the handles gently with one hand to undo the latch and start flipping. The product came in a box with an Allen wrench and some spare parts to repair it if needed, which was a nice gesture from the manufacturer. All of these factors add up to a perfect product that does not disappoint - I could not have asked for a better trainer balisong.

I don't really understand the point of this thing, but my son wanted it for Christmas. As far as annoyance factor - 10/10. I can hear him flipping it from any room in the house. I suppose it helps with his fidgeting. He recommends it to his friends. So yea, it gets 5 stars. What more can I say?

My son bought this two days ago. Screws came out of the handle and are now lost. Picture shows it came with replacement screws and Allen key but none were with it. Not worth the money

It feels like it won't break easily and moves in my hand well. Great practice be balisong! It will function in mild combat and can function well for pressure point attacks. Over all excited to see what it can do in practice.

Has good weight, easy to flip around and do tricks. I know that some people like super light weight butterfly knives, I feel like it's easier to do tricks with a little more mass in the handles.
