I purchase this annually cause thats when i get the ant problem every spring. This year i went with the clear gel small boxes it looked good and the reviews were better, My fault i should have stuck what did the job every year, which is this product, the gel didnt work at all and it was more money, i had to go back and order this 1 to get the job done, no more ants. Raid Ant Killer Baits work and they work fast! Yesterday morning there were thousands of ants on my kitchen floor. I put all 8 baits out where I saw ants and this morning 24 hrs later, there are -0- ants in my kitchen, or anywhere in my house!

Works well when I paint the top and sides with sugar water. I put about a tablespoon of sugar in a disposable bowl and add about a teaspoon of hot water. Stir it with a cue tip and paint the bait. Put the bait where you see the ants. But I wouldn’t put it on counters near food.The ants do the rest. When they come it looks disgusting but don’t remove it. Let them go back to their nest and it takes care of the problem. In a day or two no ants.Just want to add that Raid ant traps are the best. I tried other brands and even with the sugar water they don’t work as well. The ants came and left and then came again. You might have to put out more than one depending on how many ants there are.Also I find that it’s better to use a fresh package even though the traps do have a shelf life.

This was a 1 star for me. I was torn between Raid and Terro. For me, I didn’t want the mess on Terro inside my home especially my kitchen. Raid offered a cleaner solution. When the first trail of ants appeared I was ready to spring this trap on them. They walked around it and steered clear. I mixed sugar in water and dripped it leading up to the bait, and onto the bait…no attraction. Then sprinkled raw sugar on it… no go. Went to Reddit and advice there was to cut the top off and expose the bait and and a dab of honey and mix it in. Please see video enclosed. Needless to say I don’t have a week of ant crawling around my kitchen (which is out of commission until this is settled). My can of Raid spray is 1000% directly effective and gets the job done. Was looking for a more lasting solution because this an every summer battle where I live. I believe in the brand, delivery method with the bait traps was a fail.

This works !! No mess. I put out All of the little plastic containers in the box, per instructions,along the kitchen counter, and the ants disappeared Instantly ! No sign of them at all ! I am leaving the containers in place as advised on the Raid box.on th Thank you, Thank you !!This Works ! No mess ! Not as effective as expected. The ants tend to go over and around it. No changes in the volume of sugar ants. In fact, they appear to have multiplied.3 stars because this product worked for the ants in the break room at my job, which is why I purchased it. They were, however, a different species.

So glad I got these, it was immediately effective. I moved our dog’s food bowl by our back door and started to see a ton of ants in and around the bowl. I’d wipe the area down but they kept coming back. I got the ant bait, put two behind a piece of furniture within a foot of the bowl and two directly outside the door where I saw them coming in. Haven’t had ants since!

We bought a new house and started having ants invade about 2 years in. I ordered this in addition to doing some homemade remedies to erase scent trails and after about 10 days (they kept finding other locations to enter the house) they were just about gone. It has now been over 2 months and we haven't seen ants from any of the 4 locations they were entering our house. It also seemed to be the same family of ants that were in our front yard because I haven't seen them in over a month.

Easy to use and perfect for removing the ant menace. Tried it both indoors and in the garden, and worked at both places perfectly. The garden ant hills after the rain, remains flat, indicating no activity, and indoor the ants had disappeared totally. Used it for the red ants.
