I have watched for decades as the people around me entered the medical industry for care, only to become sicker and move AWAY from health. My husband and I refused any sort of vaccine due to my seeing that that didn't appear to work, and people taking them seemed to be getting less healthy. At 65, my husbands Internal Medical doctor insisted he needed a flu shot. I begged him not to, but he acquiesced. This once healthy, active man is now falling apart in front of my eyes. I'm well into my 60's, and I haven't been to a doctor since I was 16. I had to have a Key Man insurance physical for my company at the age of 63, where I qualified for 17 year old insurance rates. The insurance company sent 4 reps to see what I was doing (after making me repeat the physical, because they thought it had to be wrong). When they asked me how I did this, I told them what no one should ever have to say: I don't go to doctors. I research and figure out what I need to know and do to ACTUALLY be healthy.Thank you for your intelligence and bravery in trying to change what COULD be a profession that could actually help people become and stay healthy in order to enjoy life and embrace joy. To the doctors who don't see your profession like this, please find something else to do. You don't deserve to be called doctor, and you are failing to "first do no harm". To insurance companies, stupid hospital administrators, and dangerous attorneys...... when you look in reflective surfaces, you MUST see callous murderers, and I feel sorry for those around you.

After reading her first book, Dissolving Illusions, which was an excellent and evidence-based look at the history of vaccines and disease, I knew I had to read this book as well. It did not disappoint- it actually arrived right before a vacation, so I had the time to finish it within about 4 days.Suzanne Humphries went from being a nurse's aide in a nursing home to a medical doctor and kidney specialist. She met many wonderful doctors and nurses along the way but also saw firsthand many abuses from doctors, nurses, other hospital workers, and within the system itself. She was having trouble reconciling the training she was receiving with the health of her patients, which seemed to get worse not better under the rigid "gold standard" of medical care.After earning her degree and finishing her residency, she found that even as an official "expert" she still had very limited ability to do what she thought was best for her patients, based on her experience, her education, and what the evidence says in mainstream medical literature. She was shackled to the "gold standard" that mostly meant more drugs, more vaccines, more antibiotics, and worsening health. She eventually moved to another state to work in a place that she loved and where she stayed for many years. But even there, she experienced the abuse of merciless one-size-fits-all hospital policies that would not allow room for independent thought or even common sense.She was also shackled to the half-million dollars of medical school debt she had accrued which were coming due. She had little choice but to do as was expected, rather than the very best that she felt could have been done for patients, just to stay afloat. And at the same time, she felt dead and dying on the inside herself.On another front, Dr. Suzanne was going through a spiritual journey. She saw flaws and conflicts within the Catholic Church system where she went to school as a child, so during her college and medical school years, she was an atheist and hostile toward Christianity. But she felt empty and dead inside spiritually, so she sought the guidance of a New Age/Hindu shaman that she calls “Medicine Man”. He had an eclectic, mystical form of spirituality that seemed to be open and inclusive toward all religions. After years of weekly meetings with him and a small group of other followers, however, she began to catch Medicine Man in inconsistencies or outright lies. And besides that, she continued to feel dead spiritually, no better after 10 years than when she started.At the same time as her disillusionment with Medicine Man, she faced a very difficult situation with her mother that finally pushed her to take her spiritual life seriously. She started asking tough questions of a trusted friend along with seeking out answers for herself. She finally had no more questions and had to act upon her new belief. What happened was life-changing. Not only was she able to do what was needed for her mother, but her whole life transformed in many other ways. Best of all, she was both at peace and finally alive again-“risen from the dead”- in her heart. (Read the book for details!)In her medical practice, Suzanne had been able to pay off all of her student loans, so she was free of the “golden handcuffs” that pin so many doctors down. She had come to a sticking point where she could no longer continue to work at the job she had once loved. The hospital where she worked wanted very sick patients to be vaccinated on the day of admission, even people in the middle of a stroke! She brought the problem to the attention of the administration but was ignored and contradicted even though her professional advice had always been heeded before.So she left for a journey to find out what she didn’t know and to re-learn what she thought she knew, all based on history, biology, statistics, scientific studies, and medical journals. She has now written an excellent book (together with Roman Bystryanic) called Dissolving Illusions, lectures throughout the world, operates a private general practice, and continues learning everything she can to really help heal and even cure her patients.Dr. Suzanne is very open and (sometimes brutally) honest about what goes on in medical school, in hospitals, during surgeries, and in the minds and hearts of doctors. She talks about the depression that so many of them face, brought on by staggering student loan debts and mindless hospital policies and “gold standards”. This leads to a suicide rate higher than the general population among doctors, and patient care by people who are unwell themselves.She touches on several other topics in the book that she has been researching. These include the importance of babies being born vaginally (not via c-section), delayed cord-clamping, breastfeeding, forgoing vaccines, using vitamin C, the importance of bacteria, and using antibiotics and pharmaceutical drugs only sparingly. She includes some specific examples of people who have been in her practice or have written to her and their stories, as well as the voices of other doctors and nurses who have reached out to her. She explains why we often cannot trust the “scientific studies” on pharmaceutical drugs and points out that many doctors do not report negative vaccine reactions because they don’t even know that a reporting system exists!I hope Dr. Suzanne continues to research and write more individual books for each topic that she mentions in this one.A great read for anyone in the medical profession (and especially anyone considering going into the medical profession) and anyone who wants the best of health for their family.

This is a most crucial document of our time, exposing a 'health care' system gone insane. Then later in her autobiography it passes into her experience with Jesus that helped her deal in a healthy way with her rocky relationship with her mother. If you look past the exclusivist arrogant obtuse fundamentalist dogma-theology you will find the true healing Christ here, everyone's personal true teacher-comforter. Not bounded, limited or mediated by any church, any expert or ANY authotity - but of course this is relentlessly opposed by all good fascists since it fails to bow to their 'superiority' & further their world domination mandate. Suzanne's Jesus is actually the Chist incarnate in All. This is of course, to most Bible inquisitors, a horrible 'heresy'. Punishable by the worst possible torture & execution. God did not make us to fear or be in pain or sick. We have pain & fear to tell us something is wrong & needs remedy. I was raised both Catholic & protestant. I am Confirmed. I am totally familiar with Suzanne's exposition of faith but am deeply disillusioned of both Catholic & Protestant which I do not see as basically so different from each other. My 'faith' is my own business & evolved by hard experience & study over 60 years. Like Suzanne with the 'medical profession' I see astounding arrogance & ignorance in all the Christian sects - all based on their essentially identical dogma-theology, the Pauline interpolation. I take Christ Jesus' words to heart & see the Pauline dogma, where it has been put into Christ's mouth, for the Inquisitorial monarchist arrogant blasphemous garbage it is. The Authority King James editions & their like are full of it. Rationslize it all day long, the idea that Pauls words & his dogma-theology preside over Christ's is ludicrous. Her honest reporting of the arrogance & ignorance of conventional medicine exposes the unimaginable unbelievable damage done to patients, families & thus to our country. I have personally experiece what she has. The same however is true of the horribly distorted history we are taught in our schools. We do not know our own history. Neither do our leaders. So we will forever repeat it. And this is true also of our religious institutions & what they teach. All of them are based on the holy roman apostolic (Paulist) dogma-theology, including the protestant. Martin Luther believed each person was entitled to their own viewpoint & personal spiritual-salvation perspective. However Paul prefers to force his dogma-theology on all. Paul has many beautiful things to say in his letters appended to the 4 gospels, but invariably destroys it with his repetitious formulaic dogma. Which is actually the Hebrew messianic theology that Jesus rejected. That rebellion & Jesis' case against the money changers ensured his fate This same dogma has been interpolated back into the gospels & into Jesus' mouth. King James was above all a tyrant. His 'Authorized' bible reflects his concerns, not ours, & asserts a monarchal top-down judgemental critical dictator alien to the basic teachings of Christ. Millions of the earliest Chrisians, mostly country people (so-called heathens, pagans & witches), from the first century to the 16th were slaughtered & executed enmasse, to consolidate holy roman power & supremacy of the apostolic dogma & church (then the protestants joined in with their own Crusades & massacres). This same theology -dogma is basic to the protestant beliefs. The same kind of arrogance & ignorance is basic to the origins (the barbers, shave & haircut) of our sadistic brutal missogenist so-called modern western medical system that originated in the 1600s, in the witch trials & inqisitions. We are all entitled to our beliefs & cannot evolve otherwise. To force one belief on the world is to halt human evolution & enslave all of us. No real human progress can be made under present religious & medical systems, except on a personal-individual level & small groups, couples (wherever two or more of you). The basis of the Inquisitions, Crusades & 'witch' trials is the same - it is the same as the so-called Christian evangelical pushing today - it is the interpolated dogma-theology of Paul found in the Catholic apostolic statement, the so-called Apostles' Creed. To deal most effectively with your health & healing issues - all of them - you must discard the conventional advice (based on crony capitalist pseudo science bureaucratic dictates) and get to the truth. There is Dr. Bruce West at Health Alert, Dr. Mark Micozzi at Insider's Cures, and the leader in the field, Sally Fallon Morell, particularly her current book Nourishing Fats. The current dietary advice of low fat, anti saturated fat, is destroying us big time.

Very good evidence based personal story a of a physician who cares about her patients, does not swallow everything told her or let herself be bullied into harmful practises. Reading this book has confirmed my long held feelings and conviction that all our doctors do is throw pills at everyone, do surgery and with the advent of the computer push medicine into the tick box of compliance... As a nurse nearing retirement, I have seen so many people fall between the cracks and not getting help... Many turn to alternative medicine for help with the explosion of allergies, etc... The "God" part of the book I also was thrilled to read... All the injustices is so depressing... At least we can go to a God who loves and cares and can help us to cope in our world today... More & more I know that I do not want to stay here... We are truely living in enemy territory and all good will be challenged... Keep up the good work...

Seriously, in most walks of life you would want to know how your opponent thinks so why won’t doctors start to open their minds and investigate instead of dismissing it as quackery. I’m just a mum and recently a nan but my natural inquisitive mind wants to know both sides of the debate. If doctors read this and especially Dissolving Illusions and then OPENLY debate it, I’d be just as happy to listen to their findings. What do they have to lose? Oh yes Dr Suzanne is testament to exactly what. Thank you Dr Humphries from the bottom of my heart for caring more about human lives than your own career, reputation and pride - one day I hope you will be justly rewarded.

The real truth about vaccines has been deliberately concealed from public knowledge and most doctors who blindly follow the medical education they received which has been influenced greatly by big pharma. This book reveals the steadfast integrity of a very intelligent doctor determined to shine light on this subject by questioning the efficacy and safety of vaccines based on her own experience with her patients. A lot of it is common sense, which is so obviously missing from the current allopathic medical model. There are toxic substances in vaccines which most people know nothing about. Dr. Humphries has paid the price for stepping "outside" the proverbial box and deserves a huge amount of respect for her courage. As always, follow the money! There is so much corruption and conflict of interest in conventional medicine today that everyone needs to ask lots of questions and do their own research before relying on any medical opinion. The safety of patients is definitely being compromised to the detriment of all society. If vaccines are so safe, why are there so many people and children suffering from severe side effects from vaccines and why is there a Vaccine Injury Compensation Fund in the U.S. Do your homework or risk the perils of not knowing!

This book reinforced my belief on the shortcomings of the current medical industry and the critical need for reform, objectivity, and accountability. It is an accurate account of how truly ill our medical community is, and how easily new physicians succumb to the debt, the power, the ignorance, and ultimately the apathy imposed whether by self or by the institution as a whole. A candid human story of Dr. Humphries' personal journey allows the reader to learn and grow in the knowledge of true health, and healthcare. I am inspired by her personal journey and admire her courage and optimism about what the future can hold for the allopathic community, if honest and genuine change is sought. Doctors need to wake up, stand up and be accountable to their patients and not to the CDC or to pharmaceutical companies. If you are looking to get into the medical profession because you want to help people heal themselves -this is a MUST READ for you. It might change the course of the rest of your life.

The book is a personal journey, so a memoir, but is eye opening to see how Dr.’s who question vaccines and big pharmaceutical companies are shut down and quieted. Today you are considered crazy and dangerous if you question vaccinations, and I believe that everyone should do their own research and make their own educated decision. I do not believe the goverment or any governing body should have the right to force us to put anything into our bodies that we do not want or agree with. I just want everyone to have their choice and not be punished by the masses who only get there info from the news and the paid by pharma Dr’s.
