This lead is good for the price it works pretty well! The lock and unlock buttons are ok to use , but if you are elderly or have arthritis then they can be quite difficult to use as my father found out!The part of the lead where it connects to the collar is a little delicate as I found out on a previous lead so I bought a wire extension to prevent my puppy from chewing and breaking it which works well so far! I would only use this lead for a small or medium dog as a large one would probably break this on the first walk it your dog pulls a lot.Also the retraction works well and as it should!Overall this lead is great for the price I would certainly recommend it to others! I hope that anyone who reads this finds the information informative!

Definitely don't buy this product if you have a dog that is even remotely strong and can pull it. I was literally less than 10 minutes into a walk with my four month old lab (who only weighs about 13kg) and it literally snapped at the slightest tug. The lead itself is probably half an inch in width and about 1mm in thickness.. after extending/ retracting a few times it wears down on the lead and it ends up snapping! The result was having to pick up my pup half way through a short walk on the roadside and carry him back

I was searching for something easy. I’ve had so many of these but different companies and they were all either heavy or my hand would bend. This was an experiment and I’m so happy with this. Easy toUse and not heavy my hand doesn’t bend and the size of it is perfect ! I had one from the states and It was lost but this one is as good as the other. I’m happy :)

So disappointed with this item.My 2kg cockapoo puppy pulled on the lead and it snapped completely off. The lead then retracted completely back inside the casing.My puppy ran into a road which luckily was quiet at the time. However it could have been a very different scenario.I am so angry that a product with such poor quality is allowed on the market. Maybe mine was faulty. But it didn’t look faulty in any way, shape or form.DO NOT TAKE RISKS BUYING CHEAP PRODUCTS. I nearly learned the hard way

Used twice with my 13 week old 4 pound daschund and within 2 short walks he chewed too much for me to use again. So I would only recommend for a puppy or dog that is not teething. It's good to hold and easy to release to a setting with more give but doesn't retract back in . Only extends then the dog has to come back to you or you have the physically pull the dog lead into a shorter length and then lock it.

Warning, Warning, Warning. Used it for first time today. Young dog 11months old. Weight 10.5kg. Dog ran out full length of lead and at the stop point the lead snapped. See photo. Luckily we were walking in a beach location. Could have been a different story if in a built up area with traffic. If you value your pup do not purchase. Only given 1 star because a zero is not an option.

The mechanism to stop the lead extending stopped working the 1st time I used it. It snapped completely after 5 uses

It was ok to start with but didn’t retract back in & kept getting stuck. Now it’s completely broke .. So I need to buy another extendable lead. Value for money but not great quality really .. a bit disappointed
