SunplusTrade 2" x 50' Titanium Exhaust Heat Wrap Roll for Motorcycle Fiberglass Heat Shield Tape with Stainless Ties

I recently purchased your product for the soul purpose of installating the heat guards on my07 Honda shadow sperit VT 1100. I installed the wrap, then replaced the heat guards. After just 3 minutes of idling, there was no reduction in temperature on the chrome heat guards what so ever. They were too hot to touch. Don't get me wrong. I saw no falt in your product. It was easy use and looked great. The only conclusion I reached was that the wrap was not compatible with my bike, as great as it is. After all "Not everything works with everything. Thankyou.

Used 90% to wrap a header on a Subaru (exhaust flange thru converter, to collector flange). Sprayed it down with silicone black paint.NOTE: buy the extra metal tie-wraps. If you are an expert, you can do it with the ones supplied. I am not an expert, so the extra ties proved invaluable. Longer ties are better than short ones.The wrap, after installed, cooked for a very brief while, and not too many fumes.Thumbs up.

More than I thought but be sure to cover up completely when installing as the fiberglass is worse than working with attic and wall insulation. It doesn't appear to be shredding off but it gets on all your exposed body parts....it works for the intended purpose though...

easy to use, and I appreciate the fact that you don't have to soak it first. As with any fiberglass based wrap, you WILL want to wear gloves and possibly long sleeve shirt. I used all 50' on my headers, up pipe and down pipe on my turbo Buick and it was just enough to do it all and do it right. Looks really nice and works. Keeps the heat way down under the hood.

Second time use wrapping headers, this is a new brand I wanted to try. Packaging was really good, shipping was quick. I used this product to wrap my unequal length header on my wrx and it used all 50ft. Only down fall is the amount of straps it comes with, but not that big of a deal. Will defiantly use this product again on my other builds. Product holds heat very well and is good quality.

I purchased this item to wrap a header that I bought my car. I installed it about a month ago and haven't had any problems with the wrap tearing, burning, or unraveling. I would suggest buying extra ties. And if you have a decent sized area that you are looking to wrap, I would buy two rolls just to be safe. I'd also recommend wearing gloves while handling this wrap. The fibers can get a bit messy and it will irritate your skin

works good, is very fiberglass itchy when installing. i have best results tightening the band clamps with a pair of long nose pliers, clipping to just about 1/2 inch from clamp and curling "under".
