Does the job very well. A nice unintended feature... You can twist the body to disable power to the unit. Handy for battery life drain from unintended power switching. Dust cap can break easily. The carrying pouch is useless as the VFl falls out of it often.

Doesn’t work with Single mode Fiber . I have some dark fiber runs about 15,000-17,000 feet long and this tool is not useful. Works great at short lengths under 30’ but waste of my money.

Works pretty good. Very bright and easy to use. Make sure the part where you twist it off to get to the batteries is tight when you put it back on or it will turn off randomly.
