This towel bar solved a space problem in our very small bathroom, where there was only space for one towel bar, but we needed two. We installed this on the back of the bathroom door in hopes that the towels will dry better on the bars than they did on the hook. If you decide to install on a door, just note that the screws included will probably be too long. They were too long for our door, but luckily we had other ones that worked. This seems like a well-made product, though a bit pricy for a towel bar.

I just renovated a guest bathroom and had minimal wall space for towel bars. This was the perfect solution, installed on the side of the rebuilt vanity. It's well made, and very functional. And the best part - it doesn't take up any visual space and make the bathroom look cluttered. Love it!

Exactly what I needed. I have a small bathroom & three of us share it. With the arms out from against the wall, all three (but it can hold 4) towels can hang with plenty of space between them (for drying). When someone goes into the bathroom to shower, all three arms can be folded back up against the wall, out of the way. It's perfect for my small bathroom.

Had this up in master bathroom for several months. It works. You really need a stud to mount it to or a plank horizontally to secure it. I wouldn't use it for four towels though, only two. Otherwise they won't dry and it will not lay flat.

The house was built with one 24" towel rod in the master bath, in a very awkward location, with no better place available. I've always thought some type of swing-arm solution would be the ticket, but never could find one in a suitable finish or length until now.The KES 19.5" 4-bar rack in chrome gets the job done. By mounting it right on the edge of an outside drywall corner, the base bracket protects the corner from dings by the bars. It also ensures mounting on a stud. Now we can get 4 folded towels and/or open bath cloths within easy reach of both the shower and tub, and have ample space to let each one dry out without being in contact with the others.One odd thing in the instructions is that it's rated at 11 pounds max capacity both when mounted in drywall or a stud. Either that's a typo, or it speaks to the capacity of the device itself regardless of mounting type. I think this will be fine in my case, but keep in mind that one large "resort size" towel can weight 5 pounds when very wet, so just a couple of these would put the unit at capacity. On the other hand, a dry towel weighs just 2 pounds or less.

We got this to replace an old Ikea model that was showing its age. This is a really great unit; the first thing we noticed as we took it out of the box is its mass -- it's heavily constructed, and the plating is smooth. The dividers between the sections appear to be nylon, so their life span might be a question if they're heavily/frequently used. That's my only concern at this point.We found that during assembly, a small screwdriver was used on the large bottom screw of the shaft that holds the arms on the rack. The bottom screw slot has a ding in it from that too-small tool. It's noticeable, but not enough to deduct a star from our opinion.
