Big wheels are better for bumps, but brakes are weak.
The larger wheels on this kick scooter make it way better than the tiny wheels that come on most scooters. Smaller wheels cause accidents with kids when they hit a bump. This is way better. The rear fender-brake is weak on this one though, so it takes some practice to stop, and stops slowly compared to some other models.Good overall and a good value.

2 year review
This scooter has worked great over two years and replacement parts are easy to get from the manufacturer. We lost the spacers on the wheel axle and ordering a replacement could not have been easier. In terms of usage, my son is the primary rider, but sometimes he will scoot to school, and I will take the scooter back home. He can ride it, his younger shorter sister can ride it, and I can ride it. It is a well-made, simple, fun product.

No assembly to speak of
Got this for my grandson's birthday...he LOVES it! Unfolds out of the box - no "assembly" required

So great
So much fun for my 8 1/2 year old that my 7year old is requesting a “upgrade” from Santa.
