I just opened a can that had extra fat, love it. It may not have added water but it has extra-meaty juices. This tastes really good. As a vegan, sometimes you need a little kick for your brown rice, your quinoa or your kale smoothie. What can I say? Nobody can be perfect 24/7. Some like to break their diet to eat ice-cream with sprinkles, I like to sprinkle this juice and flesh once in a blue moon.I host dinner parties to raise money to feed the feral cats, it's always a success when I serve my brown rice with "secret ingredient". As long as they don't know they can still identify as "vegan" (or however they like to spell 'vegetarian' these days), and it can't hurt them. In fact, in 2020, you can be everything you think you want to be, even when you're not. Like celebrities talking with a falso accent have taught us. If it's hilarious enough for them, it's good enough for my guests. I mean the cake is gluten-free, but I do use eggs and raw honey from organically fed bees, because do you know what brown sugar does to your body? And who wants to eat an eggless cake, amirite?!In conclusion, this is really yummy canned chicken that tastes gooder than fast food and yet is already cooked for you. It's addictive! Before anyone gets upset, I'll add that my mother taught me not to be rude and ask nosy questions, so even though I have food allergies, I wouldn't bug my hostess with "is there peanuts in this?" or "is this soy-free?" I just sit down and eat. And so should you! Because if I can do it, so can my vegan guests! I mean it's not the end of the world, who are you to judge me and if it makes anyone feel better, this is my review, I can write what I want and all of my dinner parties and guests were imaginary. Dig in! (It's chicken, people!)

The pandemic has me shopping more and more on line for food and other items. Plus I live in an area that has been riddle with wild land fires and PG&E black outs. I like to make healthy frozen meals ahead so I don't have to cook every day. But I can't do that anymore because I never know when the power will go out. So I'm looking into canned foods that are palatable. And I'm so glad I found Keystone products here at Amazon.I've never purchased a product like this before and was pleasantly surprised when I opened the can. The chicken was packed in juice with healthy sized chunks. I couldn't contain myself and started to nibble out of the can right away, and once again, I was surprised; this time, by the wonderful taste and consistency. I decided to make a mock stew with potatoes, onions, and peas, and chicken with a few spices to give it a kick. Nothing fancy. I could've added more vegetables, and maybe some wine, but this was a trial run, so I kept it simple. The meal was good, nothing great, but only because I didn't put too much imagination in to it. But Keystone is a really good product and I plan to buy again. I need recipes for using this product, such as, for pasta dishes, casseroles, and ... and, I don't know. I could use it for salads and sandwiches. I haven't gone to the Keystone website yet. I'm sure I'll find recipes there.

Hard to beat the price. Packaged with a legitimate, even if not robust, chicken stock having a reasonable amount of actual chicken fat. All good, and quite tasty — however, there is a substantial amount of salt present. At 2oz. per serving (~180 grams) 100mg of salt is too high when most portions will average about 4 ounces — that is less than 10% of the salt for a nominal person as recommended — but it is way too high for those such as myself who limit sodium intake. I will have to avoid this in the future, though I really like it.

I had never ordered Keystone White Meat Chicken before but I wanted a larger can for a chicken, rice and vegetables recipe which makes about 4-5 quarts total. This solved that problem splendidly! The taste is amazing and there are only two ingredients: white meat chicken and sea salt. There is only 100mg of sodium/ serving so it's not too salty. I hope to buy this again and hope to try Keystone's canned beef and pork as well. Thank you, Keystone!

A lesser god (a chicken) was sent here to breed (like crazy) and then be sacrificed (beheaded). After being pinned to a skewer and roasted, this chicken god died for your taste buds ... If you've ever had the Rotisserie chicken from the grocery store, this is even better. It's as if some god-like hand reached into the rotisserie chicken, and pulled off all the white meat (no skin). This almighty hand then stuffed it into this 28 oz. can (did it like 100,000 times) of which you may get some 24oz of perfect tasting chicken breast. It's that good, and my can had a shelf life to 2028, thanks chicken god. These have far less fat than the beef, which are also very good, but I'd like to have a word with the Beef god, about the fat content of it's minions. lol...

Great product!I eat keto/ Paleo, and if you do and been looking for canned chicken without starch, sugar or a bunch of other nonsense added....this one is it!Tastes pretty good for a quick go to and can meal prep out a a few meals with some high protein.I make chicken fajita salad out of this once a week and makes 4 meals, so do the math on price......good macro/ micro nutrients for a low price!

I've purchased Keystone canned beef and chicken for many years. In the past, they've always been white or mostly white chicken. This time, I ordered 4 cans because the cost was less per can than at our grocery store. The first can I opened was all dark meat. ALL dark. My husband and I aren't fans of dark meat chicken or turkey. We just don't like the flavor. The chicken sandwiches I made with it didn't taste good to us, and we had to just toss the leftovers. Now I don't know what to do with the other 3 cans, because I don't know if it will end up being dark meat again. Really disappointed with the quality this time.
