TempPro TempSwift 1 Sec Digital Meat Thermometer for Cooking

The TempPro TP03B caught my attention due to the really low price. The reviews were overwhelmingly positive promising a good product with high value. Now that I've used it to make sure I didn't overcook six steaks on the Egg I'm more sold. It truly enabled me to get the medium steak that is just done enough to please most guests (there will always be the two folks who have to unadvisedly have to have well done & this thermometer proved great for this as I'm very determined for those type folks not to go too far done). The read is pretty fast and, as far as I can tell with these initial six steaks, highly accurate. I like the convenience of the AAA battery versus disc batteries...I always have fresh AAA on hand and seldom have extra disc types so this is huge to me. The light is great although the visibility of the display without it is so good it really isn't needed in most instances. Easy and sure on/off button so it won't go off while you are using it accidentally. At the price this very high-value thermometer is a 5-star easy to recommend one. I really think spending more when something like this exists is unnecessary and totally down to individual personal preferences. Finally, after the good results at the ridiculously low cost I'm going to order more so I can keep one handy in all the places I typically cook around and outside the house.

Works great! I love this thing. Just turn it on and test the temperature of the meat. Others we used you had to plug into the meat with a wire hanging out, and you had to use an app to work them. Nonsense, and didn’t last. This one is so simple to use and is magnetic. Just hangs on the side of the refrigerator. So simple.

This is a true product review. I don't usually leave feed back but thought this was important to share because I have started relying on reviews when I purchase products so felt obligated to help others. I needed another digital Thermometer with a probe (not going to be used necessarily for cooking purposes, so I bought this one. Here is my evaluation. There are 2 things I/we all look for in a thermometer, accuracy & durability. I just received the product today so durability and longevity is yet to be determined; however, from the feel and preliminary testing, it appears to be good. Fits well in the hand nice and long allows hand to stay away from hot items out of the flames of the grill. Only way to get a longer thermometer that stores well in your kitchen drawer is to get the collapsible kind. So overall quality seems good, not much to a thermometer, pretty simply made, but does what it's supposed to do, and so for the price it's a good buy. Only minor item to note is the probe actually doesn't sit 100% flush within it's prescribed groove when it's collapsed, but not a significant problem, just a notation more than anything, the tip is exposed ever so slightly, but will sit in the drawer just fine. Auto shut will be nice because wife always leaves our other one on that doesn't have that feature. I may switch this one with my wife's other one for my purpose because the length is nice for grilling to keep hands away from flame. For me the most important item is the ACCURACY. I did the ice water test that other models describe for calibration purposes. My Hamilton Beach digital meat Thermometer reads 32.5 so it's either .5 degrees off or since the ice water is technically not frozen solid it could possibly actually be 32.5 degrees. ThermoPro states + or - .9 degrees. My ThermoPro read 33.6. So if the true temp of ice water is 32.5 then the ThermoPro is off about 1 degree (1.1 for those that want to get technical). If my Hamilton Beach is off .5 then my ThermoPro is off 1.6 degrees. It will work for my purposes since 1 degree is no big deal for just about anything I'll need it for. Even if it is off this 1 - 1.5 (rounded) degrees at least I know with this test where my starting point is for when I do take a reading. This will work for me, but because the Temp was off slightly, and since this was the most important item for me, I wanted to share my analysis. Hope this helps others debating which inexpensive everyday type digital thermometer to buy. I'm going to keep this in my vehicle to check vehicle cab temp on those hot days, and to test/monitor the AC temp blowing out the vent, as well as other shop related temp tasks. Been having trouble with AC, but it's fully charged, so for $10, cheap way to diagnose/monitor. So works for me. If you need down to the .001 accuracy might need to buy more expensive industrial model from Granger or McMastercar with guaranteed accuracy, but + or - 1 to 1.5 is ok by me for $10.

Excellent quality, very easy to clean and spot on to use for pastry recipes. The magnet is not really practical. The display is easy to read tough the light turns off really fast. I clean it with great care because of the digital display window and the battery so do not submerge in water to clean it.

Extremely simple and easy to use, it reads temperatures almost instantly, easy to quickly pull out, wipe off, and store again. Just do not run the full body of it under water, water can get inside of the battery compartment and prevent it from turning on, thankfully mine came back to life. And the place where it reads the temperature is at the very tip, so dont poke it all the way through your meat!

Great meat thermometer, we’ve used it a few times now & really like that the display lights up. The magnet is helpful so we put it back in the same place & can find it for the next time. Seems to be accurate temperature reading.

Purchased this over a year ago (in Jan 2025) & have been using it regularly for cooking steaks. Love this little instant digital thermometer! It's been a gamechanger for cooking meat! Customer service is solid, as well. After using this product for several months, the plastic area that holds the probe snapped off. The product still functioned but I had to use superglue on the plastic area that holds the prong. I contacted Customer Support & they sent out a brand new replacement right away. I took photos of the cracked area & posted it on a freecycling platform (specified that it was superglued but everything else worked just fine) & gave it to a neighbor who wanted to try it out. I also like that it has 2 options for hanging: a magnet & also a loop. The display screen lights up temporarily & can be turned on again by tapping the button, again. First time purchasing an instant meat thermometer. Very happy with the product & customer support. I would purchase this again & definitely, would recommend this product to others, too.

The pen is very accurate, My cooking has dramatically improved now that I can measure precise temperatures. However, what will keep me buying from this brand is their after sales service. The first one failed a few days after it came; It was replaced. No questions asked. About a year later, the second one began to show erratic temperatures. They only asked for a photo and replaced it again. I have signed up for the three-year warranty also. Look at it this way. It's more expensive, but the cheap one will fail a few months later. This one will last you years. If it fails during the warranty period they will replace it. Go for it.

This is a very good thermometer for the price. It works exactly as intended and gives fast, reliable readings. I’ve compared it side by side with my Thermapen ONE, and while it’s not quite in the same league, the accuracy is surprisingly close and more than good enough for everyday use. I mainly use this one at work during staff BBQs at the factory, especially when cooking chicken. It gives me confidence that the food is properly cooked and safe to serve, which is important as undercooked chicken can be a serious health risk. The backlit display is handy, and the pop-up probe design makes it quick and easy to use. Overall, it’s excellent value for money, reliable, and accurate enough for grilling, BBQs, and general kitchen use. Very happy with it.
