I've used multiple different styles of fish baskets over the years. Most designs have a handle of some sort that sticks out from the grill so you can't close the lid. I like that this bbq basket specifically doesn't have a long handle because it allows you to keep the heat in the grill.The spring design works perfectly for holding the fish without squeezing them or allowing them to stick to the grill. The grill basket is also super easy to clean in the dishwasher and never leaves a bad fish smell behind.

They have apparently fixed all previous problems with the welds. We just got this and cooked both Tilapia (thin) & salmon (thick) & they both turned out perfectly. Very happy not to have to BBQ on foil anymore. I bought this for a small Weber Smokey Joe & it fits perfectly. I'm looking forward to using it for veggies. The icing on the cake is just putting it in the dishwasher to clean.

My fish turned out awesome with this grill basket. None of the food got stuck and it fits easily in my egg grill. I had one problem when the hinge connecting the two plates broke. I reached out to the customer service with a picture that showed a faulty welding job on my piece. They immediately shipped me a new one which was much better than the old one. I did not even had to return the old piece.

I have used grill basket twice. Both times for Asparagus which the basket is perfect for Asparagus on the grill. Prior to using the baker the second time the “clasp” to hold the basket closed broke off. I used cooking twine to hold it closed for the cook. I just pulled out of the dishwasher and the pin that holds the hinge together is gone.The concept of this basket is 5 stars but the quality is zero.

I bought this basket for my husband as part of a gift set. It is perfect for grilling fish over an open fire on the creek bank! Or on the grill.

I love this! I've made grilled fish, grilled asparagus, and grilled Brussels sprouts in it! It's amazing, nothing sticks as long as you oil it up and it grills everything perfectly. My favorite grilling tool. I tell all my friends about how amazing it is especially with summer coming !

Returned because I received a broken set. The product was not broken because of the shipment as the package is good. Definitely this one is a damaged one before shipping or maybe a returned one. Detailed check is needed before shipping.

tried day of receipt as suggested with cod fillets...will not stay closed with thin fillets so can't believe it would work with anything approaching a fish that has two sides. guess fish r really small in ur neck of the woods.
