I Am a Hitman: The Real-Life Confessions of a Contract Killer

Do not bother
One of the very few books I couldn’t read and skipped through a lot of it.Very badly written and absolute fantasy which features every cliche you could think of. A hitman who makes a victim lie down and then pushes a large rock down a hill to land on top of him! Really. The only person who should have a hit taken out on them is the publisher who agreed to print this rubbish.I want my £2.99 back!

I finished this 300 page book in 6 days because it was so damn good.
Overview:People say, "don't judge a book by its cover" but the problem with that is I'm not going to pick it up in a shop if it doesn't pique my interest. After seeing this in a local shop and reading the blurb I knew this was the next book I was going to read, never been a fan of fiction and this is everything I want in a real story. After picking up a cheaper copy through Amazon (classic - saved £2.70), I slowly began reading and found myself picking it up at least three times a day, right before going to sleep and right after waking up before my eyes had barely even opened.A lot of these bad reviews I have seen are from people reading fiction and expecting false fantasies from a realistic story. One of the things I liked most about this book is his use of above-layman language where I didn't have to check google 4 times a page every 15 seconds.I wouldn't go as far as saying this is the greatest book I have ever read because that's not what it's about. However, this story is extremely gritty, harsh, and written from a hindsight perspective about one's feelings throughout extreme situations. To the author:Thank you for your contribution to the world at the cost of your safety. I wish you all the best and enjoyed all your references to the forest. I hope you find peace there once and for all as your eternal resting place & may your family retain their safety. It was very sad to read about your demoralizing upbringing (including H's progression) and very relieving to have read you managed to keep your wife in the end.To the one-star critics:This story was brilliant, I would like to see you live a more interesting life and live to tell the tale. Grow up, just because the story doesn't use intricate words with a polished journey to define underlying meanings, doesn't mean this book is one-star rubbish. I don't need foreshadowing in non-fiction to want to keep reading it, it's quite sad to see that others skipped through chapters then judged it so harshly.

Believe it or not.
I liked the fact that it was an anonymous author, even though there was no gory details the way he described the way he went about business , but the sensitivity and caring they showed outside business and the struggle they had during their upbringing had a touch of a well thought out story. If this is a true story then it just makes me think of a male character, but on reflection if this is happening in the world today whos to say it was not a female and anything that happens to anyone can always be looked upon from a different perspective. Nonetheless an enjoyable and thought provoking read.

Stupid
Where would I begin ? This is just plain stupid. Most of the methods he describes are just ludicrous. No real story, poorly written rubbish. Don't waste your money.
