Seems to have good power. I like the clip-on carrying strap for it. I also like that it comes with a nylon bag that holds all the attachments. However, the inflator nozzle attachments have a design flaw: there is a gap/hole where the attachments link together, so more air blows out of that gap than it does out of the actual nozzle. Which is too bad because it seems like the nozzle would have good PSI if not for that gap. Would have given this 5 stars if not for that design flaw.

I needed a corded vacuumn for the stairs, furniture, and my car; cordless vacs don't last very long and often have very low cleaning power. The Dirt Devil works great and I don't have to worry about the reghargeable battery failing.

I bought this product to replace a cordless handheld vacuum and I am pleased with the results. This vacuum is 10x as powerful as my old cordless and cleans well. Pros: no battery so it won't run out of power, great suction (far superior to cordless vacuums), adequate cord length Cons: heavy for such a small vacuum, air filter gets clogged quickly and needs cleaned, vacuum gets moderatly warm when in use.

Very powerful! Extra long cord allows easy hassle-free cleaning of large areas! Great for pet fur, bird feathers, and cat litter! An excellent sturdy performer!

Excelent product for the Size and the price, you can used as electrical blower too, the accesories help to reach far places...

This is essentially the Dirt Devil SD20005RED with additional attachments to use the back port for inflating stuff. As such, before I bought it, I read the reviews for the SD20005RED since the 0871Z is a new product and there are very few reviews about it yet. I'm going all corded this time. I just hate how wimpy the suction is on cordless vacs and how quickly they "die" when I'm in the middle of vacuuming. The 0871X has very strong suction. The suction is so strong that when you turn it on, the vac and your hand will jerk a little. The suction is still strong even when used with the extension hose. This hand vac comes with an attachment brush which is very useful when I'm cleaning furnitures and upholstery. I also especially like the flip-up crevice tool as there's no need to remember to pick up and bring a crevice tool with me when I'm cleaning. The cord is sometimes not long enough so I permanently hooked it up to an extension cord so I can move around without having to unplug/plug the hand vac. It's a small hand vac so the dirt cup is also small. It's not a problem for me since I don't seem to accumulate a lot of dirt in it even after a few days of vacuuming. The filter is a bit difficult to clean because dirt and dust seem to cling very strongly to it and there's no prefilter to keep most bigger particles off the filter. I followed a suggestion made by another reviewer and covered the filter with an ordinary tissue (facial tissue). Now, when I empty the dirt cup, most of the dirt/dust are on the tissue, which just goes into my trash can, and the filter itself is kept mostly clean. I didn't buy this hand vac to use as an inflator so I'm not going to review that feature. The extension hose could be longer. Or, Dirt Devil could have made an extension hose for it that's more standard shape and size (e.g., round and 1.25" diam so other vac attachments can be used with it. Oh, I almost forgot, this was a really good purchase not just because of the product itself but because I bought it for just $9.99 (after rebate) from Menards.
