Several of my friends started to smudge, so decided to do my research and try it myself. Immediately, when I lit the sage and allowed the smoke to permeate every inch of my bedroom (with the window slightly open; to allow the negative energy to leave), the atmosphere changed.For the first time in 2 weeks, I slept through the night! The room felt lighter. I brushed the smoke around me and felt relaxed. Great product! I will be purchasing it again.

The wooden stand holds the Abalone shell nicely. I was a little worried about the stand reading some of the other reviews stating that it causes redness all over their hands and table, mine came as was described and pictured in a light wood finish. I am cleansing the entire house and the sage is a nice scent not harsh some others. I would definitely order this again.

This is a wonderful little kit for those who are just starting to incorporate the power of spirituality, ritual, and intention into their lives. I didn't think I'd like this as much as I do -- I was pleasantly surprised! The abalone shell arrived fully in tact, the smooth wooden stand just requires pulling out the legs and then it's fully assembled. The shell rests very securely on the base. The sage sticks are of a good quality, too, but I have to practice a bit more with saging to get it right. Having this on my desk near my computer at home reminds me to stay clear, optimistic, and grounded for whatever is to come. If you're starting to tap into the power of ritual, ceremony, and self-healing, this is a wonderful place to start.

Just as described. Was quite pleased upon receiving the package. I have been using this beautiful large shell for smudging and burning different things in it, charcoal, sage, tea candles, herbs, etc.I use the outside holes (tough a bit too large) for holding incense sticks - I used some hot wax (plumber's mud would work, too) and made the holes smaller for that purpose.When not in use, the shell and stand make a beautiful display piece.The white sage bundles are of premium quality and easy to burn.

Bought for a gift (though it's definitely tempting to keep for myself). I opened it, worried that it might've broken in transit, but it arrived in one, glorious piece. Beautiful abalone, not frail or too thin but not thick in a bad way. Rough on the bottom, smooth and colorful inside. Very happy with the purchase and rhe integrity. It will look amazing!

I had some LED light ones that bug zapped mosquitoes as well as clothes that repelled them but they still came for my face and hands. I lit this thing up and that was the final thing and I could see the bug fly into the smoke and "NOPE" out.

Don’t get me wrong, the shell is nice and I like the stand it came with, along with the sage sticks. But... I was somehow expecting to be more wowed by it at the price I paid. I intentionally chose the plain, natural wooded stand so of course it’s nothing fancy. The shell, though, is also very plain. I expected it to be more shiny and vivid and super beautiful but, alas, it’s just a plain old shell. I’m tempted to return it and get something similar at half the price. I feel like I got burned. On the plus side, the sage is of good quality.

AWESOME!!!! The shell is stunning and 100% more than I expected. The stand is lovely and I do rest the shell on it on my alter when not in use so it is all visually lovely. I get no staining from the stand but if you do, put a bit of clear nail polish around the feet and resting holds or a quick spray shellac will work - all to beautiful to return when it's an easy fix IF it even happens. Mine is great. GREAT package deal. GREAT gift. I give it 10 Stars - LOVE IT and you will too. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

This was exactly as described. The abalone shell is very pretty. I purchased this set to do smudging and ckeaing in my apartment. I gave it a 4 rating only because if you don't put a coating of varnish or nail polish on the feet, the stain could come off on furniture or a cloth. Not a gif deal to coat the feet with nail polish. It dried in no time. The shell fits icily on the stand. The smudge sticks are a reasonable size. I would recommend.

Sits on the stand nicely, catches ash well and does not get overly hot when you leave the burning sage in there. Lovely!
