An epic ending
The fact that I stayed awake and waited for this book to drop and then spent the whole night reading should be an indication of how amazing it is. The writing is exquisite, the banter between characters so so good, the story keeps you on the edge even when it might appear all is good. The perfect ending to a beautiful love story. The new generation of Santiago and Carrera is thrilling, hot, dangerous and unexpectedly delicious. Santi and Thalia fell in love against all odds and decided to stop a war that wasn’t theirs, bring peace in a war shattered battlefield. I can’t wait for the next instalments of this new world.

Card stacked against them
In this second part of this further follow this rollercoaster ride of a romance as santi tried to find the woman he loved and save his family. Lines are drawn, enemies become allies and betrayal is a slap in the face when the cards are on the table. Santi is excellent in his pursuit for vengeance. Nothing and no one will get in his way. Thalia opens herself up to some home truths and even though she is scared to embrace her shadow, she learns to live with it. Truly amazing story.

A must read Mafia romance!!
What a brilliant conclusion to Santi and Thalias story!! There was so much suspense in this book, it felt like my heart was in my mouth for most of it!! I love a mafia romance that has it all....the violence, the action, the steam, betrayals, intricately dark plots and heroes that are possessive, controlling and damn right deadly!! You get all that and a whole lot more in this story!! I just loved it 🖤

Gave up
I read the first book, just about, + thought I would read this one hoping it would improve, it didn't.I've read a lot of mafia books but this one was almost laughable. The storyline didn't leap out at me,just made me feel cold it + almost juvenile .I don't know what the author was hoping to achieve I felt like I was reading the Hunger Games so I gave up half way through+ didn't bother to finish it.Just as well it was unlimited+I didn't have to pay for it

My favorite books so far for 2023!!!
𝔹𝕒𝕕 𝔹𝕝𝕠𝕠𝕕 (ℂ𝕠𝕣𝕣𝕦𝕡𝕥 𝔾𝕠𝕕𝕤 𝕎𝕠𝕣𝕝𝕕 𝔹𝕠𝕠𝕜 𝟙)𝕋𝕒𝕚𝕟𝕥𝕖𝕕 𝔹𝕝𝕠𝕠𝕕(ℂ𝕠𝕣𝕣𝕦𝕡𝕥 𝔾𝕠𝕕𝕤 𝕎𝕠𝕣𝕝𝕕 𝔹𝕠𝕠𝕜 𝟚)𝔹𝕪 ℂ𝕠𝕣𝕒 𝕂𝕖𝕟𝕓𝕠𝕣𝕟 & ℂ𝕒𝕥𝕙𝕖𝕣𝕚𝕟𝕖 𝕎𝕚𝕝𝕥𝕔𝕙𝕖𝕣I’ve wanted to get to this duet for so long!!!You can call me Hannah or the one who goes nuts whenever it comes to Mäfia books - especially if they're written by Cora and Catherine!😂Talia Santiago is the daughter of Dante Santiago - the head of the Mexican mäfia. And just like most mäfia princesses she just wants to live a normal life. She rents an apartment with her sister, Ella, and they go to school as they always dreamed, like completely normal women. So far seems normal huh? Yes... spøiler alert - it doesn't last 😂 because these two princesses attract trouble to them like magnets.Talia is being bláckmailed and must earn a huge pile of money to protect her sister's honor, she decides to get it on her own without involving her father in order not to start another cärtēl war. She's a natural winner, she sweeps victory after victory in the casinø clubs, except that she enters Santi Carrera's cãsino without knowing that she is entering the lion's den.Santi Carrera, the son and successor of Valentin Carrera (the head of the Colombian cärtēl) perceives the situation - a mafia princess is served to him on a golden tray of chips. And he asks himself what is the best way to throw a big F&#k you to the enemy? He weaves the perfect plan with a devilish smile on his lips.Everything I love and more, immersive writing, an insanely strong heroine, crazy as hell twists, a grumpy hero (just like his father🥺😂), difficult triggërs, once of a lifetime love and much more❤️So I'll conclude by saying that I laughed a lot at the exchange of fire between Talia and Santi, I almost tore out all my hair from stress, I was on edge so many times because of all the tension and twists that the authors wrote (I may or may not screamed at them through the phone screen) a roller coaster of emotions and it's worth every moment! This recommendation is dedicated with love to all máfia lovers - your sister always makes hot recommendations for you ❤️🔥5🌟(I own the edit, not the pictures)

Embrace your darkness, Thalia…
The story picks up where Bad Blood left off and we find Thalia in perilous circumstances; forced to embrace her inner darkness or face dire consequences. But, after resisting it and her father’s way of life all these years, will she be able to find the light again once she’s had a taste?I really enjoyed the conclusion to this intriguing, dark mafia romance! It’s a well written tale featuring plenty of cartel-style violence, brutality, and anguish along with plenty of drama and some suspense. There are also a few surprises, in addition to some dirty talk and several very steamy encounters. Well done ladies!

Absolutely amazing!!! You will not regret it!
I’m sad because it ended! Saint and Thalia story was to die for! And Valentin and Dante was 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 swing them in action again. Passing the torch to their successors was amazing! Swing Santi and Edier working side by side and having Sam and Lola story untangle a little was thrilling. The most amazing part for me was the understanding between Dante and Thalia, the way she could see the life through her fathers eyes and what he would’ve done to keep his family safe! Th darkness that you can’t run away from when you’re born in this life, and how that changes you, but doesn’t define you!!Brilliant, absolutely amazing, stunning and mouth watering!!!

Loved it!
This book picks up right from where the last one left off and it was one hel of a ride! I didn't expect the duet to be this good but I'm going to remember these characters for long. This book was full of action, romance, war and some shocking twists. Santi never expected to fall this deep for the Santiago princess but now that he's finally come on terms with his feelings, he's willing to do everything to keep her safe by his side. Thalia was such a brave survivor this time and I loved the fight she had in her. She proved that she's truly her father's daughter and could hold up on her own just fine.Overall, the book was intense, with some intriguing side characters, a swoonworthy alpha hero and a compassionate but strong heroine who could rescue herself. I'm so excited to read the next book in the series which I believe is Edier & Ella's story.
