So yummy! Love it and love that it’s a more nutrient-dense sugar.

This is the most awful product. It arrives as solid as a rock. It is non-usable. I tried to soften it, I tried to grind it (broke a food processor in the process), I soaked it. It is just the worst! Do yourself a favor and don't buy! And, this awful "sugar" is non-returnable! What a joke for $36.95. Awful! Terrible!

The "powder" is a solid mass. I had to take a meat pounder to the bag to break it up, then use my blender to re-powder it. I will see if it re-solidifies in my jar with a rubber gasket.

three previous times I would’ve given this product of a four. The last time I give it a one I would give it a zero but I can’t. the product was delivered discolored and it was a cement block, I couldn’t even chip it away. I wanted a refund, They wouldn’t gigr a refund because it was a food product but they sent a bad food product how am I supposed to prove it? i will never buy this again even though three out of four times it was very good. Give me my money back, I’ll buy it again.

I like this Yacon powder, although it arrived to me in one hard heavy lump of a block. Similar to what happens with brown sugar. Now you can chip away at it as needed – or do as I did and break it apart a bit and then put in the blender to get it back to a sugary powder. It will just make it that much easier to reach for and use.I am not a fan of extremely sweet stuff unless it has something to do with dessert so this stuff is perfect in coffee. It is milder and a bit mellower than sugar and to me has a richer flavor too. It is still plenty sweet. It is MUCH healthier as this stuff is also good for diabetics as it is low on the glycemic index. So better for everyone of us too then. It also has potassium and improves gut bacteria. Plus this particular one is ORGANIC! This was a “powder” product. It arrived as hard as a brick. This product was mishandled, somewhere along the line. The product was NOT fresh.

I had never tried yacon root, whether the unprocessed tuber or the processed powder. The listing mentioned that it could be used as a sweetener. I had read the same thing about lucuma powder, but while the lucuma is mildly sweet and does taste good, I don’t think it’s sweet enough to be used as a sweetener. By contrast, this yacon powder both tastes good and is sweet enough that I think it could be used as a sweetener. It is, however, very expensive, so I’m not sure the benefits of this, the sweetness as well as its lower calorie content and suitability for diabetics, outweigh the expense for me, but the expense aside, I do like this product and the way it tastes, which is sweet but complex. The one issue, and one that’s been mentioned by many others, is that this has formed into somewhat of a hard block. If you’ve ever had a bag of brown sugar get hard, it’s similar to that. I don’t know if the cause is the same, though, given that brown sugar turns hard as it gets exposed to air and the moisture evaporates. This stuff is hard even though it’s sealed.

Product is rock hard to even consume, does the product come like this or is it supposed to be a powder like form?
