A brilliant insight into a life of deep practice
I inhaled this book in one go. I defy anyone not to do the same. It is gentle, funny and precise, and beautifully written; an evocation of an India of the past - the ashrams of the 1970s and 1980s, when you could rock up in Mysore and Pattabhi Jois would open the door to you, when a word from another student could earn you a place in the Ashrams of Rishikesh, and when you could arrive in Pune and ask to practice next to Iyengar. But it is also timeless. I expected the book to detail where one persons's experience of the problems of practice lay, and how they fixed them. Instead, the lessons that are there are wrapped up so gracefully in stories, they don't feel like lessons at all. Just beguilement. The author has stepped out of the way to let the light of a lineage shine through this book. And it shines so brightly! An incredible achievement that feels effortless.

Honest and profound ❤️🙏❤️
This book is a very intresting narrative of an honest, truthful and really profound yoga and life pilgrimage. Orit has written her journey from a very brave place, she opens her heart and describes what a truthful seecker is, and above all, she shares it from a very compassionate perspective.I have read it with excitement in 2 days!!!! It grabs you immediately!!!!I wish every yoga teacher and practitioner could read the book. it is a very much needed book in a world that yoga has became a very superficial practice.
