I picked up this book. I am a great fan of the author. Dean Regas is one great Astronomer... Dean gives you lots of interesting facts about Space and you can pick this book up anywhere you like to read. This Book is not one of those that you have to pick up and read from cover to cover. Dean is one half of a pair that has a PBS Astronomy show on Youtube & local PBS stations. It's Stargazers... even if you are a Advance or a beginner ... go check the show out on Youtube.

This book is great fun -- with a whimsical design to match. It is easy to pick up, browse a few pages and put back down. However, I was disappointed that a "fact" book did not include an index. For example, I wanted to find information about eclipses and had to thumb through the categories to figure out where those facts might me. Perhaps they will add an index in future printings.

I bought this book for my 11 year old son and 9 year old daughter. We all loved it! It is full of great information and written in an engaging and humorous style so it appeals to a range of audiences. Highly recommend for children and adults who already have a strong interest in Astronomy (like my son who read it in one sitting--just couldn't put it down) and for those who you want to spark an interest in Astronomy.

Written for people who are just interested in space. You don’t have to be a college science professor to understand it.

Great book of astronomy/space trivia. Sometimes it's great to pick up book that you can randomly open and enjoy. No plot here. No demands to read from beginning to end. Just pick it up and explore the universe of crazy facts about . . . well, the universe. Also, great for teachers who want to make up trivia contests.

I love this book. I bought it for my 12 year old son, but I ended up reading the book first. I learned something on every page. After reading the book I realized I have misunderstood "waxing" and "waning" moons my whole life! The book is written in bite-size paragraphs so "chipping away" at the book is very easy.

Format makes for very easy reading and easy to reference. Keep attention and hard to put down due to the interesting facts noted.

A must read book for the people who love to learn about space. The paper quality is good. The way the facts were represented was awesome. Easy read.
