This is a great product, it buts the loop against the bead, I may sometimes have to close the loop completely but that don't bother me, this saves my hands and my jewelry looks more professional. I like the material and weight. Over all in so far it's a great tool to have and my projects are done a lot faster.

All I have to say is thank you, thank you, thank you to whomever decided to invent this product! As a bead enthusiast trying to make the perfect loop by hand is not easy - not saying it can't be done because it can but I like the guaranteed success every time you use the looper in getting the perfect result. It saves sooooo much time! I purchased the 2.25mm and am now eyeballing the smaller looper size. I love the fact that you can have an option in buying three different sizes. Smart! The grip is fine, the bend-ability with wire is perfect and the quality and comfort of the tool in itself is great! Highly recommend anyone who is into jewelry making/beading to buy one. It's really inspired me to bead more! Thank you!

This works very well to create small loops. The learning curve is short, but I recommend looking at the Beadsmith website for the video tutorial. There are instructions on the back of the packaging, but they are confusing as they actually show two different things: the first pictures show simply creating a loop and then additional pictures show how you can trim a longer piece of wire as you are looping. That was clear as mud as I thought originally it was all one process and made no sense. The loops are very small -- 1.5mm. The picture on the packaging makes them look huge. If you want the loop close to the bead, practice a bit with some scrap wire. Notice it specifically says to use with “dead-soft or half-hard precious metal wire, craft wire and copper or brass core wire . . . between twenty-six to eighteen gauges. Only the slightest hand strength is required. The tool does the work. It can be a great relief for people who have problems with repetitive wrist motions who would have trouble making numerous loops using pliers. Beadsmith also makes another “BIG” looper that makes larger loops (3mm), if that’s what you need. That works with 24 to 18 gauge. Update: I just finished making a necklace where I had to make many, many loops. I have to say this tool wore me out. The two handles are so far apart that the initial grasp got to be so much of an effort that I had to use two hands. Once I started to squeeze, I could take the other hand off. Seriously, it got so tiresome trying to wrap my hand onto the two handles, my hand started to hurt. It's not noticeable when I only do a few loops, but sustained use was not fun. By the way, I have average-size hands, not particularly small. The other problem I encountered was that you have to feed extra wire into the tool with each loop for it to cut off. If not, it can't grap the wire securely enough to loop. If I tried to just get it to the end instead of the extra overlap, it wouldn't form the circle. That means with every loop, I lost a bit of wire. It was a bit tense; I finished my necklace with about 3 inches of wire left on the spool, and lots of little pieces all over the place that I had to clean up. So overall, still a good product and easier than hand-looping (if that is the correct term), but keep in mind you will need extra wire and it's best to try not to make a lot of loops at one time.

This worked great for making loops on my suncatcher! Very simple to use and great quality.

These are great for making open loops with thicker wire (20g) or head pins. I prefer to make wrapped loops for finer gauge wire, but these are a game changer for open loops. There’s a bit of a learning curve to get the loop snug against a bead, but after a little practice it becomes very easy. This really speeds up the process of making links and I’m really happy I got all three sizes. I’ve used them all at some point. Highly recommended!

I enjoy using this one step looper. I do believe there's a bit of a learning curve, but so far I'm pleased. This is great for when you need to make a lot of loops in one project that are consistent in size, but I do find myself having to make some adjustments if the loop doesn't close perfectly. However, this might be a "me" problem, as I'm newer to beading crafts, so I will continue to use this tool. I've found it's best to take my time with it.

I love this thing. I have been doing eyepins/the other side of an eyepin strung on a bead by hand, and I'm pretty okay at it but you can't beat a tool doing it the exact same way every time for you. I want one in every size, probably. It's pretty easy to use, and so far I haven't had any issues, but have only used it for one crafting session so far, with 21 gauge wire. I have had issues with it not cutting the wire HOWEVER I think that's due to the way the wire it's being put in, rather than a flaw of the tool from what I can see. That said! As someone else commented, the breadth of the tool is pretty wide. I have pretty long fingers/palms, and it was even a bit wide for me, and so I can see it being a bit of a struggle to use if you've got smaller hands. Also, it is probably common sense to some but I'm a stupid b so I will just say it... if you use this to do the other side of an eyepin or wire(so the bead will be against the edge of the tool) this thing will absolutely decimate any delicate beads that are made of glass or crystal, so you have to be careful and not press it down the whole way and finish closing the loop with pliers if you want to use it like that otherwise it may just break a chunk of your bead off lol. Overall, love it and makes things easier/quicker.
