I think this desk looks amazing. Its why I purchased it. It came with its fair share of headaches though.Pros:- It looks great.- The keyboard drawer is wider than anything ive ever had. I love it.- I was able to not install the middle shelf and slide my computer in their instead.- It feels sturdy but I would never put much weight on it based on the way it attaches to the metal frame.- The instructions are very simple and just about perfect.Cons- First and foremost this is a bear to assemble. I consider myself extremely handy as well yet I struggled.- I found many pre drilled holes that were off. This made assembly a huge headache.- The Drawer is stable and well mounted on mine despite some of the other reviews stating it falls. However the front flap that closes on the drawer does not latch. Doesnt even come close due to seriously miss drilled holes and placement of the catches. Even if the holes for the latch were placed right the catches on the front board are far off of where they should be.- The MDF is as cheap and weak as can be.Update: 7/19/2017 Now that I have had it for a few months I absolutely hate it. The overall quality of this desk is absolute garbage. Im saving to buy a new desk and then this one is off to the landfill where it belongs. The MDF is peeling and cracking. The misdrilled holes from the factory are now causing this thing to break and fall apart. Buyer beware on this one.

I should have listen to the negative reviews; classic saying, no? I had bought the matching shelves from WE Furniture and they came out well above par. All the parts were in good condition, everything fit well, and it is a mighty fine piece to have in my apartment. Thus, I figured that the desk would be equally great. Wrong, wrong, oh so very WRONG.Everything started out well until I reached the shelving units. Neither shelf fit well, I was in disbelief. Because of the way I positioned the brackets, the shelves are held up, but not securely, which is distressing. Then came attaching the long screws for the middle, metal bar holding up the desk. I managed to get one in but the other was so misaligned I eventually gave up. The metal bar to the right of the desk is just barely held in by the provided screws. Moving this desk almost caused it to fall apart, I had to move it very carefully next to my awesome shelves.Oh man, then came the drawer. What a colossal piece of garbage. After painstakingly putting it together, the darn thing would NOT fit into the slots. The part of the drawer that folds down REFUSED to stay up. Eventually, I just removed the sliding slots on the inside of the desk and did away with the drawer.To return this desk would be a monumental hassle so that's out. The desk is sturdy enough and looks nice but it could have been significantly better, especially for the price. How could a company that makes such great shelves make such a tremendously crappy desk? This desk is NOT worth the price, as they say, buyer beware.

I ordered this desk on December 21st with expected delivery date between December 30th and January 5th. The desk arrived on December 27th, and was originally schedule to arrive Christmas Eve but it getting pushed back was completely understandable.The box itself is about 70 lbs, and very wide. Highly recommend you have another person help place it into the room you plan to build it.Assembly took me about 3 hours, but I usually take my time. I did have some slight trouble with a few parts, but a little extra work had everything working out nicely.In terms of quality this desk completely exceeded my expectations. The desk has a slight gloss, and is smooth to the touch, and the metal frame also gives it a very nice modern touch.In addition, I left one of the shelfs out of the assembly so I would have room to store my Pc.I'll update this review if anything else develops, but overall first impressions are highly positive, well worth the purchase!

First, get your broom and dustbuster ready because the amount of styrofoam that is all over everything will have you cleaning up the little white pellets for quite some time.It didn't help that some of the stryfoam broke apart in shipping I'm sure, but the under-side supports broke off of the desk table top before arrival. It was not a strong connection to begin with--some sort of adhesive between fiberboard and the wood/plastic veneer and a few brad nails. It took some time to get the support back in place in the correct position so that the inside legs could be secured.Troubles aside, it is a good looking desk. For a minimalist aesthetic, it still offers quite a bit of function. The steel frame is pretty high quality and the veneers are all in good shape. The power outlet is nice but if you have more a monitor and computer to plug in, be prepared to still have another power strip nearby. I would buy it again but just be prepared to problem solve during assembly.

Do not waste your money on this desk, for the price it cost I expected something a bit better.First off all the smell of chemicals is absolutely horrific, had to air the house for several hours.Wasted 3 hours assembling it, worst instructions ever! and after fighting with the drawer for about an hour, it doesn'teven fit.I would love to return it and get my money back - but how the hell am I going to take it apart and repack it, it's glued! they even provided the glue! Great way to avoid refunds!SO LOOK FOR A DIFFERENT CHEAP EXPENSIVE DESK, THIS ONE IS NOT WORTH YOUR TIME AND MONEY.

Beautiful desk when assembled. However, there was supposed to be a screw to sturdy the desk for which the hole wasn't made. So my desk is a little shaky. A little disappointing and with the kids doing school on it, I feel it's going to flop any moment. Unfortunately, it's quite expensive and I can't afford to buy another desk just yet. Ivy - Croydon

Absolute lovely desk, looks amazing in my new home office. Very disappointed that it came with an American socket though, not good when you live in the UK! I have tried to send an email to see if there is a UK version but cannot find contact details.

Would have given 5 but the one wooden piece on the left superior shelf is crooked and sticks out from the side of the desk. Other than that, beautiful and sturdy desk.
