Great poles!
These poles are very reasonably priced and work excellently. They lock and stay locked at the length you desire. I could put my full body weight on them and they didn't change. The are comfortable in the hand and light enough for any use. There are lighter poles with other options but you will pay what I consider way too much for a set of poles. I like them very much.

Cheap but very good
Economical hiking poles. Very sturdy. As sturdy as the 100 dollar brands but cheap. These magically stabilize your gait, making your stride more efficient and more physically economical. Increased My milage and decreased my output. A win win. Fully adjustable.

Trek poles
Great trek poles , solid adjustments . They are a little bit clicky but they are a solid choice and for the price itโs hard to beat.

Lightweight & Sturdy โ Great for Hiking
These trekking poles are lightweight but very sturdy. They provide great support on hikes, especially on uneven terrain, and are easy to adjust. Comfortable grip and good value for the price. Highly recommend!

Wow!
I have been using an Eddie Bauer collapsible stick for years; it still works but is gradually wearing out. I have used it primarily for wading and fording streams for fly fishing. These new sticks blew me away. The quality of materials from the cork handle to the locking tabs is superb. There is much attention to detail in the design and construction. The fact that you get two of these in a nice carry case is hard to believe for the price point. I would expect to pay more than double for such a nice product. They extend easily and lock and hold firmly in place with no slipping. The trick is to follow the instructions to the letter regarding adjusting the tightening screws and closing the tabs. Even though they are walking sticks, they have the carbide tips that will perform well on rocky streams.

Good Value, Sturdy Poles
Just returned home from the Smokies where I used these poles for 2 days of light hiking. I am not in good hiking shape; bad knees and out of shape, so these poles were a life saver! They were both easy to tighten and did not collapse like some others I have used. I used the rubber tips and had no trouble climbing over rocks and through streams. They come with various tips, including a spike which would be helpful when wading. Would recommend these poles for a casual hiker looking for price-friendly poles.

Lightweight, sturdy poles that make a real difference on hikes
These Cascade Mountain Tech trekking poles have been a great addition to my hiking setup. Theyโre very lightweight but feel solid and well-built, especially for the price. The aircraft-grade aluminum gives a good balance of durability without feeling heavy or clunky. They adjust easily, lock securely, and have stayed put while hiking. Iโve found them especially helpful for balance, reducing strain on my legs, and managing uneven weight in my pack. On longer walks and colder hikes, theyโve made things feel more stable and controlled rather than fatiguing. The grips are comfortable, straps are easy to adjust, and the included tips make them versatile for different surfaces. They pack down nicely when not in use and are easy to carry. Overall, these are excellent trekking poles for day hikes, casual to moderate trails, and anyone looking for reliable support without spending a lot. Simple, effective, and well worth it.

Great poles
I have had a variety of hiking poles in the past. My last ones ended up trashed after an unfortunate trip while hiking in Switzerland, and so I decided to give these a try based off of the great reviews. I have used them while hiking on dry rocky, elevation hikes in Arizona and Utah, and also on long, muddy hikes in flatlander Wisconsin. I've been impressed at their functionality on both of these types of terrain, and am looking forward to trying them in more mountainous areas in the future. Things I like: They have a secure clip to lock their length into place, rather than simply twisting them into place (those poles have failed me in the past). I like that these poles come with a variety of tips to them, so that I can alternate them as needed for different terrain. I also like that I can easily break them down and fit them into my suitcase. They are light weight, easy to grip, lock easily in place, and break down quickly and easily. And they're an excellent price.

Disappointed
I bought it to hike Fuji Mountain. The locking mechanism on the shaft did not work properly and kept getting loose changing in the lenght of the pole. I had to stop all the time to make it tight. I gave one star because the grip was pretty good and comfortable. I hope I get a refund.

Great Trekking Poles for the money
We purchased two sets of these Cascade Mountain Tech Trekking Poles with Cork Grip at the end of December 2019 for both my wife and I. We like to go trekking on the Bruce Trail in Southern Ontario, Canada. We have put them to use three times already and they have been very good. Each time we have trekked for about 4 to 5 hours, going uphill, downhill and on flat ground. Due to trekking during the winter, we have been wearing gloves, so I canโt comment on the relationship to cork instead of the EVA material. The cork feels fine and looks to be a good overall material that will hopefully hold up all year long. The aluminum poles, which we chose, are strong and have held up well with plenty of downward pressure on them. The Quick Lock Mechanism seem very strong and as long as you properly adjust them, seem to hold up fine. Overall theses poles appear to have good sturdy construction. They also came complete with the accessories kit, as described. These poles are a great value for the price. Both my wife and I recommend this product, however time will tell how well they perform in the long run.
