Super Taste
Delicious sprouts and so easy to do. I did have a problem with the smallest seeds. Some went through the mesh on my har lid. But the problemwas easily solved by using some fine material held in place by an elastic band. Well worth going doing as they taste fantastic!

Very poor germination
Unfortunately these didn’t work for me.I have sprouted many different seeds (some other types also from this same supplier). Generally with this being the only exception all have produced good results. Initially I tried these in the sprouting jar but got much less than 10% germination. I contacted the supplier and they informed me that they needed to be sprouted in soil and grown as micro greens. Having tried this I got similar rate of germination. The few that sprouted grew well but again it was much less than 10%. As a last resort I tried an overnight soak in a dilution of Hydrogen peroxide (sometimes helps with challenging / old seeds). After a quick look on YouTube I learned that a fair number of professional growers were growing beetroot sprouts in Coir with an organic fertiliser (seaweed) feed. Those that grew are doing fine but again well below 10% actually sprouted. Not sure what else to try or what the reason is for such poor germination. Could be I am doing something wrong, possibly something has happened to the seeds. Really not sure but for now I have to give up and admit defeat on Beetroot sprouts.
