Instant Pump Automation. iQPUMP01 enables app control for Jandy variable-speed pumps. A mobile pump user interface that allows pool professionals to easily install, set up, and control the pump using a smartphone and the iAquaLink app, iQPUMP01's built-in hotspot technology makes set up and programming simple - even without Internet access. iQPUMP01 is compatible with all Jandy Pro Series variable-speed pumps and doesn't require a JEP-R user interface or other automation system. No more bending, climbing, and leaning over hot equipment to access a tiny keypad and difficult-to-read display. Installers can program pump cycles, initiate one-touch quick-clean, and service variable-speed pumps remotely to reduce on-site service visits and increase energy efficiency for the pool owner. Review: An easy to use controller - Our original controller (Jandy IQPUMP01) finally needed to be replaced. Considering that it is exposed to the elements, heat, cold, rain, for years, I think it performed very well. Replacing the original controller with this new one was as simple as plug and play. Programming, on your phone or tablet, is easy and straight forward. Once programmed for nightly cleaning of our spa, I rarely use the IAqualink/Wi-Fi program. The controller has a manual button for "quick clean" and another for "timed runs" that I do use. The remaining choices I leave alone and our spa service uses them from time to time. One Wi-Fi feature I do like is the ability to lower the spa rpms (1200) to run only the waterfall without the spa jets. We are very pleased with this controller. Review: Takes about 20 minutes to install, but have your toolbox ready - We have a TP-Link Omada system with an outdoor access point and the WiFi coverage in the back yard is excellent. Perhaps because of that we didn't have any of the connection issues that others have reported. Installation required a drill to get through a plastic plug so that we could feed the wires through, a precision flat blade screwdriver, and some silicone to seal the hole in the plug. We probably should go back later and put a couple of Tapcons into the concrete wall to mount the controller. (Jandy won't honor its warranty unless you have this installed by your local pool company, but ours probably would have charged $500 to do the install and likely wouldn't have done it right. The on-pump controller on our pump failed and Jandy wouldn't honor the warranty even though it WAS installed by a professional pool company (we didn't have the receipt because we'd just moved into the house and the pump was installed for the previous owner).) The iAquaLink app is good. It's not a Jandy product and seems to work with a variety of brands. It's free with no subscription required.

Works well, but has some limitations.
I ordered this to take the place of my JEP-R controller. I often find myself having to manually walk out to the pool to turn on my filtration system because bug, leafs, etc are in the pool and I want to get them skimmed off earlier than the timer activation. Being that this is wifi, I thought it would be perfect to save that early morning walk outside to turn on the pump especially on those cold mornings. This will do just that. Very nice. HOWEVER, there is no INSTANT on for this unit. It will require you to create a profile for you to turn on. A little of a pain, but if they had an instant on, or early cycle start feature, this would get 6 stars! update 06/01/2021 - I have used this controller going on 3 years now. I will admit that it does disconnect from my main router from time-to-time. Sometimes, it is difficult to get it to reconnect, but I always seem to manage. One note that I will pass on to you. Delete the app and re-download or update. The app does not always seem to update by itself, so word to the wise...UPDATE IT! I am still holding true to my original review. I really wish the app would have the ability to have multiple profiles for multiple speeds/ controls

Upgraded replacement for Jandy JEP-R at a lower cost!
Best money spent! After two years of struggling with a JEP-R wired controller to program my Jandy VS pump, I found this replacement solution and didn't look back. The wiring is simple for the DIY'er, using the same color configuration and plugs as the JEP. No longer do i have to hold and reset physical buttons that don't register due to aged contacts. Now I just log into the free iAqualink app on my Samsung, set the schedules and speed - and boom! It just works! As a bonus, I can observe any stage of the programming without going outside and save time and money!

A must have with the Jandy VS pump
I've only had this a short time and at the end of the season, but I already love this controller. I had to replace my pump suddenly and got a Jandy variable speed pump with a controller on it. You can only set two timers using the slow speed and one custom speed. That's crazy, so I got this Wi-Fi controller and now I can create multiple schedules with multiple speeds. The app works great and shows me the RPM and kw per hour. I can turn it on and off at any time too.

Easy control via phone
My pool professional installed this alongside a new Jandy VSP pump. He provided a code after install that I entered in the app and it auto added the pump to the app for control. Multiple schedules are easy to create. Its 3 actions to get it to run at a different speed than the current schedule. I can check current status right on my phone anytime including the watts used (want to see if I am saving electricity). I also has a 30 min quick clean button that runs at full speed and a 2 hour maintenance run at 2750 rpm button. I didnt give it a full 5 stars because it is a bit sensitive to the wifi and has disconnected temporarily a couple of times in the 2 weeks its been installed. I knew that going in though and the hard buttons allow me to use it in those rare occasions. It will execute the schedule even when disconnected from wifi.
