I bought this light because I specifically wanted a powerful light which could take replaceable 18650 batteries. By carrying spare battteries I want to extend the working time for the light on a long ride.There is one big flaw however, which is that the springs inside the battery compartment do not hold the batteries tightly enough. As a result I found that when riding over a rough surface, the battery would lose contact momentarily, switching the light off. This is actually VERY dangerous as you might find yourself riding in the pitch dark, trying to find the on-switch!!Button-top-style 18650 batteries do work better than flat-top ones, but I'm giving this a 1-star review since all they really needed was to use longer and stiffer contact springs. Or perhaps use an internal capacitor to smooth over these momentary breaks in power supply.Other comments: the external remote switch is completely pointless and just takes up valuable handlebar space. However the light itself and the mounting feel very robust and well made.

The light is good no doubt, the only caution is which batteries you use with it. If you are a vaper and can remember the early mod days you'll be fine. If not stick to the battery type caution included in the instructions.

This is a torch that does not take standard batteries and comes without batteries. True it says in the small print, but that is exactly that "small print". For what I paid, I expected batteries to be included rather than the pain of not being able to use it until I manage to source some batteries. Hope the light is as good as the adverts say. Not a very happy customer.

Really good lights. More than enough light for any night rides. Battery lasts just over an hour on full brightness. Much longer on lower power settings
