We ordered this for our 3 yr old for Christmas. It’s a great game for little players. Very simple to play, it’s a game of chance so there’s no room for an older child to dominate, and best part NO SMALL PIECES to loose!!! The alligator is about the size of your hand. The teeth are fixed in the mouth. No batteries required. The mouth and teeth are spring loaded. You take turns pressing a tooth down, and wait to see who the gater will chomp. The “chomp” does not hurt, but may startle the little ones. We play as a family and my 5 yr old enjoys it also. It’s size and ease, also make it easy to pack and bring along while traveling. We’ve already gotten one as a gift for a friend, since falling in love!

I bought two of these. They are a waste of money. Do not buy them. They are tiny about the size of my palm. The mouth does not stay open. If you push down a tooth, two or three teeth around that tooth also go down. This was the most disappointing gift for Christmas this year.

I love the size of this! I think it’s perfect size. My four year old carries it around easily. No batteries, no small pieces, and I can play with her anywhere. She often brings it to me to play a round of “chompy” (what she calls it). And when I’m done playing, she plays with it by herself. I actually bought this as a “filler Christmas gift” (just some small things to open besides the big gifts) but I did not expect it to be played with as often as she plays with it! Definitely a good buy.

We love the game when we first opened It (received today). It’s small, which we don’t mind, but there’s a bigger issue than the size. After a few rounds of the game the mouth stopped staying open. It’s very difficult to get the mouth to stay open to play the game. My little ones and myself honestly, are frustrated with trying to reset the game for a new round.

The picture is no where near the size of the actual item. Buy the real one from the stores for the same price. This should be labeled a travel size.
