Wonderful mold, built strong and resilient. It's simple to use, just fill it with the material you're going to use, let it dry, then you can bend it and stretch it as you need to get your finished craft out. It's really good for the price, the size of the mold is really good for a standard size, it practically needs no cleaning after you're done, unless you used mica powder or pain; then it might need a quick cleaning with alcohol or plain tap water. As for it's functionality, well it's pretty basic, there really is no need to wonder too much about it.

Excellent mold for Mandala stones. I used Cement All Rapid set. The mold cast a glass like smooth end product. Washed well with soap and water. It did not disappoint! Very happy customer.

If you are looking for a really good mold to make art stones, this one is nice. It's 3" which is a great size, but it doesn't make a flat stone. I thought I was ordering the 3" mold made by this company that is flatter. I did not realize there was one that makes a higher stone. Having an option for a flat stone or a more rounded one is nice. I have the 4" mold by HDC and my stones turn out great and release nicely. They also hold their shape, even after being stretched to get the stone out.

Very thick mold & quality material. Customer service is phenomenal. Had a minor defect inside mold that left a bump on finished product. Thought it was normal as this is my 1st mold. Contacted owner & discussed issue, sent pic of imperfection & a replacement was sent out immediately. I use plaster of Paris with a lil portland cement mix for my stones & they come out so smooth & perfect everytime with this mold. Releases clean each time as well. The extra supports on mold to keep it standing also keeps mold from bowing out once plaster is in keeping finished stones the same shape. The Happy Dotting Co has a new happy customer, between quality products & superb customer service, I won't be buying from anyone else.

This shape is a great addition to my collection of HDC molds. The center dot is just prominent enough without getting in the way. It does take a good bit of hand strength to remove the casting
