Falls apart
This is my 8 year olds grandson’s review …. And I quote“This is the absolute best toy ever. Although, it did fall apart easy and hard to put together. It is pretty good though.”And my thoughts are why in the world would they make this type of toy for kids to build?Watching him build it frustrated me watching him get irritated. He can’t hardly pick it up or move it without parts falling off. The company should make new measurements & standardize it on the manufacturing machines.

Fun and popular
Got for our 8 year old grandson for Christmas. It was something he wanted. He loves it but some of the pieces are hard to fit together so just keep this in mind.

VERY creative, but ALOT of little pieces!
This set is a very creative idea! You get to make like 5-6 little bots made of garbage. You open tiny black garbage bags to look through trash to build them. It's such a cute idea! Only thing is it's a little more complicating than Legos to put some of their creations together. But my 6 year old has gone back to it several times since Christmas a month ago. But mom had to help build the bigger things. I would think it is more suitable for maybe a 9 or 10 year old.

Fun except missing one piece
I purchased this for my 8 year old son. He spent a lot of time making the junkbots and loved it except he lost interest when he could not find one missing piece which was a bummer.

Great idea, terrible design.
We had no enjoyment putting these together - or rather TRYING to, as we never even got one completed. Most of the pieces are so tiny, my small adult hands had difficult maneuvering them. Some pieces fit together so loosely they fall right back out. Others absolutely do not fit into their appropriate openings. I broke all the nails on one hand just trying to get one piece to fit. I know it was in the correct spot, so that wasn't the issue. There is no clear diagram for the characters - only a tiny grainy picture - so you are mostly left guessing as to what you're looking for. My 8 year old nephew (of whom I purchased this for) gave up on playing with this within 10 minutes. He didn't even care to finish searching for all the hidden pieces. It's really too bad, the idea is a fantastic one - especially teaching kids about helping the environment by recycling. And the light up and vibrating potential was cute, but not executed well at all. Save your money and hope they work out the kinks before going with this. Hopefully one day they'll remake it with appropriate designs in mind.

Big hit!
This junkbot was such a big hit with my grandson. He loved putting the little robots together & making them light up. I can't believe this was actually delivered on Easter Sunday, we were all very happy to see his excitement.

It is what it is.
On one hand, not worth the money as it is literally just a cardboard box with a few bits of plastic. On the other hand, absolutely worth the money because my son has played with it everyday since getting it for his birthday. He has spent ages putting all the bits together and building the robots, so can't really complain.
