Der-FranzCoffee, flavoured with Vanilla, ground, 2 x 500 g

Initially there is some bitterness to this due to being a Viennese style coffee and 80% Arabia ,20% Robusta . I made coffee w it using filtered water and a 15 bar espresso machine. Finely ground so suitable for this, haven't had an issue w my machine. There is subtle hazelnut taste and smell ,package states 1.5% hazelnut added. Good everyday coffee for me ,don't see anything wrong w it. Doesn't taste like ashes just there is slightly more bitterness than w an Espresso Crema or other blend.Upstate : better results & taste with filer machine although too finely ground so some residue at the bottom of cup

Been using this coffee since lockdown and found it to be low cost and very tasty. Unfortunately something seems to have changed. The last two bags I have received have been tasteless very weak. Not sure if somethings changed in the supply chain or what but it’s a shame as I like this coffee a lot! I’ve given it a 4* due to how good it’s been in the past but if this is what the coffee is now, I’m afraid I won’t be ordering again.

Nice Coffee

this coffee is incredibly bitter and the (so called) vanilla flavour hard to detect. I can't believe that they get to advertise this the way they do. It's the worst coffee I have ever tasted.

The coffee is ok, but grind is way too fine almost like dust. This clogs my expresso machine up and struggles to filter water through when packed down too tight.Wouldn't get ground again, but would purchase the beans so I can grind my own.

Tastes really nice and have given my friend some as well..

Avoid.You can easily find something better.I don’t like it.Not very tasty.It Doesn't smell good.Very disappointed.

I've only recently my coffee palate changed, I tried vanilla and hazelnut from Jimmy bean online, but the cost is just too much for a daily cuppa. Therefore, hunted a cheaper version and come upon this one, yes, it's just nuts but I might look for a vanilla and mix them.Anyway, you'll not be disappointed it is stronger than my original one, but it just means less scoops in the coffee maker. Try it out the flavour is good enough I can drink it black. (Normally use heavy cream) But this one is so full of flavour it's worth the money... Highly recommended, remember to use a quality filter like Melitta it works well with this one.

I have ordered a package of 5 different tastes, one of them being cinnamon. I got 2 caramel and not even the possibility to replace one with the cinnamon one.The product is good, but now I am affraid to order again, because I can't return or replaces if they make a mistake. I don't find it fair.

Après une petite erreur indépendante de ma volonté, je rédige ce commentaire à nouveau.Ce café est de très bonne facture et son arôme se diffuse parfaitement en espresso, je vous recommande chaudement de passer par une machine de ce type pour le consommer, il donne même un petit bonus cacao qui sublime l'arôme de ce café. Vous voyez le café noisette dans les machines ? Oubliez et prenez celui-ci.Je le trouve moins bon lorsqu'il est passé dans une cafetière à filtre; l'arôme de noisette est moins présent et laisse place à une amertume qui fait une drôle de contradiction avec la saveur de noisette...Mais si je lui mets 5 étoiles, c'est pour la simple et bonne raison qu'en espresso, ce café est tout bonnement parfait.
