decent with one fault
Here's my situation: I rode MTB for some time on gnarly trails out west. I used unpadded gloves (big name, pricey) and loved them, thought them essential for blister protection. I never needed "padding" though. But now I ride road bike, all pavement, but the roads here are nasty. I run 700-25 tires. (Yeah, could go bigger tires and get a little smoother... but bike is all set up and I'm leaving it as it is for now). I do have a carbon fork so that helps a little. I can dodge the actual holes, but the cracks, patches, and ripples ... just nasty. In fact, every 2 rides or so (10-39 mi) my brake-shifters have vibrated loose and i have to re-tighten them down!! SO, reviewing the padding against that type of riding ... the gel pads in these gloves reduce a LOT of vibration and bumps in my hands and make the ride so much better. So a very, very big success there. They look garish with the pink flames on the back and the pink pads ... but I didn't buy them for looks so I don't care. They seem to be holding up okay for the first half dozen rides ... time will tell about real longevity. The problem ... there is an extra strip of fabric running between the base of the index finger and thumb, along the webbing of the thumb, that gets REALLY uncomfortable. It's like a 1/4" wide strip sewn in there, I guess for extra padding? If you ride in an upright posture gripping the handlebars like a "baseball bat," like with your palms facing toward the ground, fingers rolling over top of the bars, thumb rolled under to grip ... it isn't in the way. And I doubt it would rub/bother with that grip. However, if you ride with drops, or bar ends (on a MTB or gravel) such that your palms are vertical, facing eachother, and the bar is pressing on this space between the index finger and thumb, that "lump" is a problem. I get start noticing it about 5-8 miles in. By about 10mi, it's annoying. By 12-13 mi it's painful and I'm constantly re-adjusting my hand position out of "normal" to try to get some relief. It tends to be the Rt one more than the left. So maybe the construction varies and I got a Rt glove with a bad seam. But the L one, thought not as bad, is a tad uncomfortable too, so I think I notice it more as my Rt hand is dominant and I am shifting rear rings with Rt hand, so moving it more. I dunno but basically I'm saying "not good" to this glove for road biking. If you MTB with flat handlebar these might be fine for you. (though I would not like this much padding - it's a lot! - for MTB because I would want a more grip on the bars and not want the slop created by padding at that interface for the technical stuff I did. Full suspension was necessity, just for control, on the stuff I did, to I wanted as little as possible between me and the handlebars. If you do less technical stuff, the padding might not bother you.). If you MTB with occasional use of bar ends, might be okay when you are upright, that area isn't rubbing. If you gravel bike, or ride moderate trails where you are mostly upright, and want a lot of padding, these might be 5-star for you. But if you road bike with an aggressive/forward posture, I do NOT recommend these given the construction with seams and this 'lump' across the webbing of the thumb.

Snug fit, padding not quite right for me
These gloves look good, seem well made, and are comfortable.Other reviewers have mentioned an accurate fit - based on that, I carefully measured my hands and ordered the size L. But they are snug, perhaps my hands are fatter than they are wide? The Velcro closure just barely reaches. I'll keep these, but if I ever replace them, I'd go up a size.My other issue is the padding. The gel is plenty thick, but doesn't cover the whole palm. There are 3 strips of gel (view the pink ones and you can see them clearly). I suppose it depends on what type of bike you have, and on your posture, but for me, riding my hybrid, my grip centers on my hand's horizontal crease, which sits between the padding, so that's where I need padding the most.

Most comfortable gloves I've ever experienced!
Absolutely terrific gloves. I was (and have been since no longer riding competitively) riding without gloves, pretty much comfortablely. But my current bike, or maybe my advanced years, has resulted in some hand discomfort. And it's no longer a problem. The grip is positive and as comfortable in the 50th mile as it was in the 1st. I'll be riding longer distances this weekend and am really looking forward to it thanks in large part to no worries of hand fatigue/pain/numbness. Great quality and design, plus a price that's an outstanding value makes them hard to beat. Two pairs (purchased initially) may not be enough. Must have a clean pair ready wear at all times. I've been spoiled. Thanks to thier makers. Great product.

Life Saver for RAGBRAI
These gloves arrived the day before RAGBRAI and the gloves I had been using up to that point were not good. I used to have stinging pain and numbness in my palms, arms, and elbows after around 20 miles of riding. I rode 500 miles in 1 week on RAGBRAI wearing these gloves and all pain and soreness was completely gone! They are easy to remove with pull tabs on the underside of the middle and ring fingers. Extremely comfortable to ride with, my hands and arms didn't feel like I was riding at all after finishing a ride.

I love them once I found the right size.
I ordered the XL because I did the sizing (which came to L) but read some reviews that said size up. Well, it was too big. I returned it and ordered the L, that was also too big. I returned those and got the M. Fits lovely. Help my hands not slip while I'm doing my cycle class.

Decent cycling gloves.
The upsides: comfortable, good fit, good shock protection. Looks good enough. We will see how well it wears. The downside: pull tabs for removal are useless and poorly placed. They actually are mildly annoying when riding. But overall, I’m happy with these gloves.

Gloves
These are great gloves. When spinning the sweat roles down my arms. The gloves stop the sweat from getting on the handlebars nice and dry. The gloves have plenty of padding and the gloves get wet but not slippery and feel very comfortable i bought 2 pair wear one pair let it dry out for a day and next day wear next pair.works out great.the gloves do not feel wet and soggy while spinning feel great

Great padding
Had hand surgery on my palm, these gloves were great in taking up the shock as I got back into shape riding my bike and using the lawn mower, due to the thick and shock absorbing grips in the palm area.

Nice but fit is a touch small
I have average hands around 3 and 9/16" wide. The large is a snug but not uncomfortable fit. Just know if you have ham hands these aren't for you. Nice design and construction. The padding is very generous.Recommended.
