Great rich natural colors, high pigment so you don’t have to push so hard.

I love these as a beginner they are better for me. They don’t break as easy with a little bit of pressure. Thanks!

Slightly grainy

I love colored pencils and these skin tone ones are very nice. Can be used with or without water.

As a watercolor painter I work out my detailed drawings on tracing paper first and then transfer the drawing to my good watercolor paper. I found a water soluble transfer paper that is a life saver, but I still need to draw faces and hands with very fine lines. Once regular pencil lines are gone over with water, they are sealed and not erasable. Regular graphite water soluble pencils dissolve in water but leave gray washes, which I like for value studies. For my regular work, these water soluble colored pencils for skin tones are the answer! I can transfer the major part of my image, then finely tune hands and faces, even on small works, and the lines will dissolve.

I am new to adult coloring and a bit intimidated by skin tones. So I purchased this tin of 12 skin tone watercolor pencils. It said in the product description that it " Includes a step-by-step project sheet" ....it doesn't. It says on the back of the tin "Three easy step by step tutorials that show you how to create multicultural portraits are available to download for free from our website....." I couldn't find anything at all even about these pencils much less a tutorial. I would never have paid for these pencils had I known that. Unfortunately I am stuck with them as I am disabled and unable to go out to purchase packing materials and get them to the post office to return. So beware if you are depending on the tutorials, I couldn't find any.

I am happy with the quality of these pencils and in their performance. It would be nice to see themed kits expand to one larger multicultural kit instead of smaller kits divided by flesh tone. I bounce back and forth to get the right shade and many times remember I might have made a different choice if it were included when customizing a shade.

These pencils are amazing. Runs very smoothly. They come in a tin box which is very useful for storing. So far I'm loving these pencils
