Cool book!
Flipping through this book I am impressed with the amount of things to build. I like how they give step by step instructions and what pieces you will need. This would be for someone with a large collection of Lego's already. I'm excited for my boys (6 and 7) to give this book a try! They are always coming up with things to build but I'm sure some ideas would help too! I'm happy with my purchase!

Cool ideas but not practical
I got this book while I don't really know Lego a lot. I got it for my daughter so that she can learn to build Lego. She does like some of the idea in the book, however, there are two major drawbacks for this book:1) It is not easy to collect all the Lego parts described in the book. If you are a Lego collector for years, then it should not be a problem for you to find all the parts in your house. But the thing is, most parents got that book because they don't know Lego a lot and don't have a good amount of Lego collection. When I used the book, I had a few Lego classic sets on my hand and it took me hours to find the Lego part I need to help my daughter to start building. Still some parts are super rare and I don't have it. My daughter was so disappointed while I am using some other bricks to replace the part that I cannot find in our Lego collections.2) Even though the idea in that book is cool, it seems like the author or the editor of the book is a non-professional Lego builder. The sets I tried to build with my daughter, no matter a hard one, or an easy one, can easily fall apart because the design is not nearly as good as those authorized and issued from Lego company.Besides those, the printing of this book is not so great and it is hard to tell the exact color of bricks used in the book.Overall, if I could go back on time, I would not buy that book and would just go get Lego sets and use original Lego instructions in the Lego set that I got. Or if you want your kids to be creative, just let them explore by themselves. Basically, this book is not so much useful unless you have a tons of Lego bricks on your hand without any Lego instruction.

Make sure that the book matches the LEGO set that you have
I liked the book and the items inside that you could build along with the instructions, but it just did not match the LEGO classic set that I purchased.

Fabulous Book!
I bought this to go with a big Lego set I bought for my nephew. He and my niece have spent hours recreating the things they found inside the book. The images are top quality and it makes it easy for the kids to build things a little out of their comfort zone. If your children love Legos, they need this book!

Good, basic book
Good basic book, however you would need a lot of lego to keep consistent with the color choices for each creation within the book, so we just let our son pick whatever colors he wants as we do have quite a bit of lego just not the exact amount of each color listed in the book if that makes sense ie: instead of all purple, we picked blue or red, etc.
