Amazing tool to make your guitar look new again
I've been playing guitar for years and every few months i restring/clean my guitar. I noticed my frets perhaps weren't as shiny as they once were, and so i opted to try this! Being careful not to damage the neck, i put some masking tape over the frets. Using this made my frets super polished and sparkly again, looking brand new. This will now be apart of my cleaning routine forever.

Works great on stainless steel frets
I bought a new guitar which unfortunately had sharp fret ends. It has stainless steel frets so I was unsure how well I would be able to file it down myself. This product did just the trick, although it does take many passes. I was able to remove the excess fret wire. I didn't use tape as I wanted to file the fret edge down as close as possible, yet the eraser didn't damage the finish of the fretboard edge!

Cleans the Frets as Expected
I had a 30 year old guitar that I took out of storage. I used these erasures to clean the frets and they worked as advertised. I had to use blue painters tape to protect the fret board and then I was able to start rubbing the frets with these. They have three different levels of graininess, depending on how dirty your frets are. I was able to get all the gunk off my frets before I restrung it and they are nice and smooth now.

Excellent product for the novice luthier
These work great for removing tarnish and for polishing after you have level filed your frets. I highly recommend this product! Pictures include before and after on a 2005 Ibanez Iceman. Make sure to start with the 180 grit, then to 400 and finally polish with 1000 grit. Do the sides and top of fret not pushing too hard. Remember this is a rubber compound with embedded grit, so pushing too hard hard will prematurely cause a divot in the erasure. Try to use all the surface of the erasure.
