I really like it. I dont have a wok yet
This is my first time using a wok strainer. I really like it. I dont have a wok yet, so I used it to scoop up pasta from boiling water in a tall pot. It was incredibly easy to collect all the pasta (normally it floats to the edges of the pot- well, the strainer easily collected them even from the edges). The angle of the handle was perfect in that no matter where I scooped, my hands were nowhere near the heat of the flame of my gas stove. It is lightweight and easy to maneuver.

Great utensil for cooking
Great utensil for cooking. Strainer worked well with water and hot oil. Used it when frying dumplings and also to scoop ravioli out of a pot. Well made and nice long handle so you don't get splattered by hot oil. I did not put it in the dishwasher because of the wood handle but it washed well in the sink. Good price for the quality.

This strainer was very easy to use
This strainer was very easy to use. The 15" handle is long enough to stay out of hot, threatening oil when frying. The basket shape allows you to easily scoop up food, whether it's floating or touching the bottom of the pan. The bamboo handle is great because it doesn't get overly hot like a full-stainless handle would get. It cleans up easily without a ton of elbow grease.Overall a great value.

This tool works great for stir frying dishes in hot oil
This tool works great for stir frying dishes in hot oil. I've also been using this Wok Strainer to blanch vegetables. It's a great tool for straining food out of hot boiling water quickly. It can help keep pasta in shape and get it out of hot water quickly so the pasta does not overcook and stays in shape. Great tool for any cook!
