Nice lights.
Nice lights. All were functional upon delivery. Pretty straight forward operation. VERY large rubber coated on/off/auto 3 way toggle switch. If mounted where you can reach it this large switch is very functional. As another mentioned; they are larger than I thought, but that is ok. The solar panel is about the size of an ipad. The power cord disconnects from the light unit to aid in mounting and routing the cord. (Another nice feature.)There must have been a Black Friday sale on these; I purchased two sets (four total lights) @ $40.00 each ($80.00 total). I see they are now $100.00 plus. We'll see how they stand up to Iowa weather! While well made and sturdy; I am sure I would have passed at the 100 dollar price.BUT; if you have no other option (power available) these are nice. The light won't light up a whole yard except in pitch blackness, but for door entry lighting sized area these will work just fine.I intend on using one in my three season porch entry with the solar panel routed through a screen molding. One I intended for use with my motor home camping. While too large to permanently mount; I'm thinking pole mounted now for that application.

Realistically inclined tinkering handyman review
I originally purchased the 80 LED light from a different supplier, looks almost similar to this one but double the price ($40 for ONE!) with LCD display and older type LEDs. The 80 LED I ordered was considerable brighter, more of a white light compared to this product's 90 LED with newer LED chips. This light outputs a blueish type light (higher kelvin and not as bright in confined areas). I bought these lights because it said aluminum housing. Somewhat falsely advertised as only the square frame around the LED is aluminum.I wish the rear mounting bracket was a bit deeper, this makes it difficult to point straight down or else the motion sensor will hit the wall you mount it on. I might fabricate a couple new steel brackets for this adjustment. The mounting screws are really garbage, get yourself some decent screws from the hardware store unless you're like me with buckets and buckets of hardware.I see people reviewing this product saying its dim. You have to understand this is a BATTERY POWERED SOLAR LIGHT. It will not light you your entire backyard like a $300 LED 120v flood light. I have some mounted 15ft on the side of the garage and lights a decent radius (approx 25ft diameter). For what it is, serves my needs perfect without affecting my electric bill or having to deal with running wire. It's also nice having a light where you don't have power. Depending where you live, consider the orientation of the solar panel given the seasons (orientation of sun in the sky, trees/foilage, etc.) but the 14' or so wire to the solar panel should help with that.I bought (5) packs of 2 @ $39.99 which brings each one to $19.99. I just revisited to order more but the price is now $49.99 so i'll hold off and keep my options open which should give enough time to see how these last. The internals are pretty simple so should be easy to fix if one fails.
