I bought this quite a few years ago. I began having some equipment related issues with a ticking sound. I couldn’t figure out what was causing it. Ended up the ticking and interference sounds were being caused by my powerful wifi signal. Nothing was wrong with my cloudifier, but it wasn’t able to handle the strong WiFi signal and created interference in my recordings. They went above and beyond to help me figure out what the issue was and, not only that, replaced it with a newer upgraded cloudifier that handles those things better at no charge! They sent me out the new on on a Friday and I received it by Monday afternoon. The CEO even talked to me to try and help me. Thank you so much to the Cloud company! You guys are the best and I appreciate your going above and beyond to help me!

The cloudlifter acts exactly how I was told it would. It boosts the signal of my MD-421 to a perfectly desirable level so that I don’t have to add any gain at all, eliminating any possible hiss. It seemed expensive, yes, but I’ll happily buy another if I end up with another dynamic mic that needs it. I was especially able to accept the somewhat high price by virtue of this package: an extra long XLR cable never hurts, and the headphones that come with are decent enough for monitoring purposes. Even if I would never want to mix on them (that goes for most headphones though) having them thrown into the bundle made it easier for me to justify trying out a cloudlifter just for my top snare mic, and I have no regrets.

The Cloudlifter device is great. Made my ShureSM7B sound like a PODCAST. I don't think the headphones are good, which is fine I bought this just for cloudlifter but the headphones are straight garbage lol. I wouldn't even give my worst enemy these headphones.
