bought this product in June 2023, its now September 2023 and the product stopped working. From June til now this product was A++++ never had issue, very easy to install and keep my Arlo camera charged. After 2 months now it stopped charging my camera and now i am pass my return/replace window. If there is anything that can be done about replacing the product would be great. Overall the product was great.

Mine would have issues charging it up when facing the way they have it being vertical. They never seemed to charge (I bought 2) . What did it was having it stick straight out meaning almost like you place it on a table with the screen facing up. The same way, I screwed them in facing straight up amd flat. They stick out horizontally but not they get FULL sun and charge away. This is a blessing. This time of year plants are growing back and trigger the camera every couple minutes killing batteries. I changed mine out every other day and was a pain. Well now, I haven't needed to go back up in weeks.

I have one Arlo camera that is in an hard to reach place and another in a high-traffic area that runs out of battery frequently. Even with XL batteries, the camera looking at my driveway will often die after just a few weeks or less. So I bought two solar panels and installed them a few weeks ago. They are integrated directly into the app. So you see when sun is hitting the panel (see icons in green on the photo) and whether it’s changing. If the camera hits 100%, charging stops. My driveway camera was at 52% when I added the solar panel. It’s now hovering around 100% after less than a week. So even with all the activity it’s more than enough energy to keep the camera charged. And this is a solar panel on the north side of the house so I have to be tricky to aim it for maximum sun. The other camera is on an east side, so plenty of sun. If it’s not clear, you still need a battery in the camera for it to work. I’m not considering a third for another high traffic area. I can’t speak to longevity, but if that changes, I will update. I am very happy so far, to the point of getting nerdy and texting friend about how well it charged the two cameras.

We use Arlo Floodlights to monitor our cabin and RV site. Although there is electricity at both locations, permanent power connections are inconvenient and unsightly. This solar panel keeps both cameras running seamlessly, as long as there is adequate sunlight every few days. The one at my cabin has been keeping the floodlight alive for over 3 years with zero maintenance. I do feel the power depletes more quickly than I'd expect during stretches when the sun isn't out so much, but neither has let my cameras fully die to date. My only real complaint might be the connection between the panel and the camera is delicate and should be enhanced. My 2nd panel had to be returned and replaced as the tiny connector wires were damaged. Overall, if you're looking to charge an Arlo camera for free, and eliminate long stretches of power cords, this works great.

Works even better than expected, great quality, Had it at our shooting range for the camera and have had it for almost a year , no problems, now we have one at our gate when you enter our property… perfect for a spot you do not have electricity ran to….Easy set up, connects easily! Definitely worth the money spent! Also, mounts up with ease!

Terrible. The cameras are 2 1/2 years old and won’t charge.

EDITED ON 12/5/23 Changing my rate from 1 to 4. They had a serious issue with the camera’s firmware. After working with me for close to a month, they released a new firmware, and it fixed the problem 100% The reason they get 4 stars instead of 5, is because they were denying the issue, for close to a month. I tried 3 cameras, and returned 3 solar panels, spent hours with tech support, and the problem was not hardware related. The solar panel is now connecting without issues, charging the camera everyday. This solar panel should work with the Arlo Pro 5s, which is the newest camera released by Arlo. Already exchanged once at Amazon, but the second one is still not working. The solar icon does not even appear when using the app. I just get an error saying the product is not compatible. I heard that is also happening to the pro 3 and 4. It should be a plug and play. Definitely not the case for me. I had 4 versions of Arlo cameras, so I know it’s not a configuration issue. Tech support does not know what to do. The camera was purchased last week.

These charge even if it’s overcast. The screenshot was on the day of the big blizzard prediction 2-22-2026 and you can see it was very overcast and was still charging. Saves me from getting on ladder and swapping batteries out.

Almost 2 months with this solar panel and I have nothing but great things to say about it. Make sure it sees sun. It doesnt work until the sun comes around the house and its out of the shade. My camera hasnt been below 99%. We'll see how well it does this winter.

J'ai retourné celui-ci car j'ai commandé par erreur un non compatible avec la caméra installée. J'en ai un autre, sur une autre caméra, qui fonctionne parfaitement depuis presque 2 ans.

Next to useless. “Charges” our Arlo 4K Ultra security camera which runs flat after 3 days without it, not the advertised 3-6 months. With the solar panel make that 5 days. This is with the camera in “Optimized” setting.
