Great replacement for the PS3 controller. No set up required.
Bought this as a replacement for one of my old PS3 controllers that's now covered in battery fluid. I was a bit hesitant because I know how finnicky PlayStations can be when it comes to foreign devices. The item arrives and I unbox it. So far so good. Very simple, just the controller, a reciever, and like a 3 page manual smaller than my palm.Literally no messing around was needed, I turned the PS3 on, plugged in the reciever, switched on the controller and bam, instant connect. The range of the controller was enough to span my entire living room, so that's good. PS3 USB ports are generally useless anyways so I don't mind at all having the receiver take up space. If you are using your USB slots for something else however then just keep that in mind.I decided the best way to check put the controller was to play some games, duh. Played a bunch, very responsive controller. It feels firm and solid, and the button presses feel good too. It doesn't really feel cheap at all. The shape is exactly like that of an Xbox controller, and compared to the PS3 controller this is much more ergonomical. I'm a tall guy with "piano hands" so when I play with PS controllers my fingers tend to extend and meet behind the controller. With this though it's very comfortable. The controller is also DualShock, vibrations also feel solid.Tried these out for a few hours for two days and it was still going strong. Great value for money, very glad I bought it.I will mention though that the receiver is made of very weak material and should be made a bit more sturdier. In one case, I almost snapped it when turning my PlayStation to put the cables in. My fault though and I won't be doing that again lol. I'll also mention the charging port is a little odd. I have tons of micro USB cables but none will fit this, as it's more an iPhone/Samsung S9/10 style of charger (kinda oval).

Responsive and reliable
The connectivity between the controller and the receiver, even when the latter is connected at the back of my PC, hasn't faltered whatsoever during my first few weeks of usage, certainly with respect to 'speed runs' that I've been doing in one of my cherished platformer games. In that same context, though, there's a character function that has felt a bit imprecise to me when using the joystick, however this could be attributable to the game rather than the controller, and so I can't judge which is necessarily at fault here.Setting up the controller, there's barely any process to speak of, being a perfect example of plug and play. The charging aspect of the product also seems to work just fine, along with a serviceable battery life, though I do keep the controller regularly charged. And in terms of feel, it nicely fits my medium size male hands, and the buttons feel substantial enough when pressed. So far, no definitive criticism that I can make of this product.

A good PC controller but ...
The Easy SMX wireless controller is a good device for gaming on PC, but in the last few years it has been outstripped by the likes of the XBox controller. That said, for the price you pay you'll still be getting a good budget controller that can be used on multiple platforms ....And therein lies the problem. The controller feels plasticky and a little flimsy in parts - although I should point out that mine has lasted me all of this time so what the hell do I know? The button configuration can be weird in certain games - with no ability to change things! The Bluetooth connection isn't that great either, and tends to drop out when the controller isn't too far away whichever device its connected to.Overall its a mixed bag of results, but for the price you're paying what would you expect?

Quick, smooth, great battery life
Initially I wasn't sure - the shape and controls are similar to a regular Xbox One controller but just different enough to feel a little awkward in the hand. After a couple of weeks, however, I would now say the same about the Xbox controller - I'm just using this one all the time! Battery life is superb - I have never had it run out on me in a gaming session and I often don't charge it for a few days. Joysticks and buttons are all crisp and precise. The 2.4Ghz USB stick seems to provide a rock-solid connection - it's never let me down.I did find the extra buttons, on the underside of the controller, a little annoying so I remapped them to do nothing. I guess they could be a bonus for some but not for me. Remapping is pretty easy - it took only a couple of minutes.Great controller, well recommended.

Bastante bueno

Feels cheap, but works marvelously.
I bought this to replace an official Xbox 360 controller. The cord was getting annoying, one of the numpad keys was acting up, and the USB connector had troubles connecting, so I needed a new one and decided why not just go wireless. Glad I did. Looked for a cheap wireless controller under $40. This one for $35 fit perfectly. When I first got it, the LB button didn't work. I opened it up to see if it was something I could easily fix, but it was likely missing a spring so there wasn't much I could do about it. That's fine. One can expect to get a broken product every now and then when buying this sort of thing. Returned it via amazon, got a new one the next day, and it works marvelously. I've been using it for 2 weeks so far to play some rougelite games. Moonlighter, Lost Castle, and Rouge Legacy. Works wonderfully. It takes a couple of seconds to pair to the adapter the first time, but after you pair it, it connects instantly. As for battery life, I literally just finished the first power cycle. It just now died and is charging. I got around 48 hours of use out of it, though it's worth noting that I was primarily playing Moonlighter during that time and it doesn't use rumble very often. I imagine the battery life would be significantly shorter for a game that uses rumble more. The main issue is the build quality. It feels super cheaply made compared to the XBox 360 controller I replaced Another VERY minor complaint is there's no visual or tactile indicator on the adapter so you can tell from a glance or a touch which way to insert it. Like how your charging cable has a USB symbol on the top. It's no big deal and I just put a sticker on the top side as an indicator. All in all, this is a fantastic wireless gamepad for the price. Highly recommend.
