Brilliant iron!
I bought this as my other steam iron stopped working. I do lots of ironing at a time and like that there is a big water tank on this one! There are no heat settings to change and the iron really does work on all materials without sticking! It’s genius! Would recommend!

Great iron
It’s a good iron with good steam output, love you don’t need to worry about changing the temperature when your going from cotton to silk ! My only negative is the the steam cord should be on the outside of the iron not the inside, it’s gets in the way sometimes!

Great iron
This was a replacement for an iron that needed filters. This one doesn’t need them as it de calcifies itself.Bonus was detachable water tank.

Has lasted less than 3 years with fortnightly use
The first repair was due to water leaking from the base and steam inefficiency that had gradually got worse until it was dangerous to use. This second time it has broken, it is again due to the steam aspect not working and a noise suggestive of an error somewhere that it cannot rectify.I phoned Phillips customer care team who talked me through a device reset but when it was clear it needed to be sent into them for a repair at a cost of £54 (when I paid £150 for the device 3 years ago), I decided to buy a new device instead. It doesn't seem worth the cost or effort when I've had less than a year's worth of additional use from it since the last repair! My advice is to be aware when you are purchasing this device as is not likely to last too much longer than the 2 year warranty!
