Installed today so time will tell. I saved the old clips in case I need them later. I used a pair of needle nose pliers to press down the teeth of the clips. Hope that helps. Fits perfectly.

Bought this to replace the original one after being hit in the parking lot. Fit perfectly.

This part on my 2016 F150 had been damaged by someone backing into my parked truck. Luckily, they only damaged this trim piece and didn't hurt the rest of the front bumper. A local repair shop quoted me just shy of $90 (including installation). However, it seemed like an easy enough job to do myself so I found this listing and decided to try my luck. Product arrived quickly and well packaged. It also arrived with the spring clips already attached to the panel. This was a welcome surprise because the description didn't mention them. I had saved the old clips from when I removed the OEM piece, but ended up not needing them. Others had said that you can install the clips on the trim panel and then push that into the bumper. The way the part arrived for me, with the clips already on the trim panel seemed to support that idea. However, I found that I couldn't get the clips to snap into the bumper and hold. What I ended up doing and would recommend you do instead is this: 1. Remove the clips from the trim panel (a bit of a pain, but a needle nose and flathead screwdriver worked) 2. Install the spring clips into the bumper. I just eyeballed the center of each little slot and popped them in. 3. Take the new trim panel and starting on one side press the plastic tabs into the spring clips. The spring clips should "grab" the plastic tabs as you push them in and secure the panel to the bumper. Work your way across the bumper until all tabs are seated into the clips and your done. After all the fiddling around it took me about an hour. Had I removed the spring clips and put them in the bumper first it probably would have been a 20 min job. Overall fit and finish seems to be good. Comparing the the new part to the OEM part prior to install, they looked identical.

So I was parking at work (concrete parking structure) and I put my truck into “Park” and you know how it rolls forward a bit on a decline. Well it broke off a section of this plastic piece (see picture). The dealer wanted $70 something so I looked on Amazon and I got this for around $28. Looks and fits just like the original one. Might be a tad bit cheaper plastic but who cares when it’s such a savings from the dealer and a near identical match! And mine came WITH MOUNTING CLIPS! I ripped my old one off by just pulling on it. Then popped the license plate mount after that. Then used needle-nose pliers to pull out the old clips. One reviewer stated to put the clips on the panel first and then install it. DO NOT do that!! I tried that method and it didn’t work at all! Instead, press the clips onto the bumper and center them in the horizontal openings. Then line up the panel and press it in. This whole replacement should easily take under 30 minutes. I’m very happy with this purchase especially because it came with clips which isn’t mentioned in the description for some reason. It should be mentioned cause that’s very important to consider especially if you don’t have all of your old clips. There are no instructions included. It’s a common sense repair guys. Highly recommend this company!!! Thanks!
