This ND filter exceeded my expectations. The “putter” style handle makes adjustments so much smoother than traditional variable NDs. no more fumbling or accidentally shifting the filter when I’m mid-shot. It’s quick, precise, and honestly just makes shooting feel easier.The glass quality is fantastic. No noticeable color cast, no loss of sharpness, and the images stay clean and crisp even at higher stops. I have upgraded my rating on this filter.I have been pleased with K&F products in the past, but this filter did not work well for me. As noted by some others, I too encountered the dreaded "X" shadow that started creeping in until it covered the entire frame. That said, many reviewers said it worked great for them, so perhaps my problem wasn't the filter itself but either my expectations for it, or the particular lens I tried it on (Nikon 14-30 f4). As with all K&F products, it is very well made. The frame is solid, the glass is excellent, and the resistance between the rings is great. Also, K&F customer service is second to none!I returned this and instead ordered a set K&F Concept Magnetic filters. Amazon has several sets with different combinations of ND, CPL, and MCUV, for only slightly more than the price of this single one. I ordered it in the size of my largest lens, (95mm) so I can use them on all of my lenses using step up/down rings.

ND filter works perfectly! Used it for my 16mm lens (24mm full frame equivalent) on a aps-c camera. Zero vignetting all the way down to the last stop. Only shows X when you go past the ND400. Even directly only ND400 there is zero vignetting. Perfect for my Sony ZV-E10 II. Highly recommended!

Great filter. High quality, robust build that really reflects the care missing from so many products these days. Even the carrying pouch is a cut above, which comes with a drawstring that ejects the filter without needing to leave fingerprints on the glass.

Very easy to add to the front of the UV filter on my lens. Makes taking pictures of waterfalls very easy since you can change the filter density to compensate for different shutter speeds (I generally shoot from 1/2 to 2 seconds).
