Lorde Cat Bed Cave Sleeping Bag, Pet Mat Self Warming Pad Sack for Cats and Small Dog

My cat luvs her NEW sleeping bag! When the sleeping bag arrived my cat was NOT interested in her new bed and completely ignored unlike the cardboard box it arrived in. When it was time to go to bed I placed sleeping bag on my bed (she sleeps next to me at night) in hopes she would get the hint and sleep in her "NEW" bed. She slithered in to it very quickly and didn't hear a peep. She slept in it all night! The sleeping bag is nice quality, thick fabric and soft. The selling points: LARGE size, solid color, NO crinkly foil added as my cat is a "scardy cat" with noises and the front part stays open with an internal wire sewn in to the top portion of fabric. I looked at other sleeping bags for cats and none of them had these features. Most reviewers from other sellers said they wish the front stayed opened. This sleeping bag does stay open and well. I have since placed another order; it's a great price also. Very happy with my purchase and so is kitty!

Got these for my two kitties. Very soft and comfy. Well made. The rim has wiring that props up the edge, so the kitties can nudge their way in. It doesn’t stay up, but they find their way. It’s a great size, and my photo’s show a 16 lb cat curled up inside.

Bought this for my chihuahua who can get chilled easily but hates wearing a sweater. Overall quality is good for what you spend. Fabric is sturdy, dog doesnt mind it not being buttery soft, Im using it on my bed so the amount of padding doesnt matter but I would say there isnt enough if your going to use it on a hard surface. The bag washes up well, fabric doesnt pill. Unfortunately, the metal wire that helps my dog get in and out more easily broke in the washer so it flops over now, thats why only 4 stars but I would purchase this product again, just rig the wire somehow. If the manufacturer could fix the issue with the wire, this would be 5 stars.

It took a week and a half for my cat to actually get into it. I had to kind of hold it over him for 10 or 20 seconds, and a few hours later he was actually sitting like this. If you stick your head into it it does have a mild but strange odor, the order is not bad, but to the cat I think it was a turn off. But because Sphynx cats don't have any hair and it's pretty cold in the winter, I bought it, and I finally think he might start to like it. The more time he spends in it the more it will smell familiar to him, because it will smell like him. The Sphinx cat is 10 lb and the bag is bigger than he needs so the size should be fine for most cats, although a large Maine coon might find it small. It's double layered on both sides, and should be nice and warm. I'm giving three stars right now because I can't speak about the longevity. Also, the metal wire that holds the opening up is probably not necessary, and prevents the opening from closing, which could help keep the cat warm. Cats will burrow right into the opening to stay warm if they want to, whether the opening is being held open or not.
