Good buy!
Was too large to fit my Fluval 15 gallon tank, but it was easy to cut to fit with a serrated knife. The extra pieces I then used to cut to fit my water pump filter. It's working great!

Not like the ones from years ago, but still work.
I always use OEM foams. These seem coarser than the ones I used many years ago (10 or so). Finer foam would filter better, but these still do an OK job. Perhaps they went coarser, so you could go several months between cleanings, but I'd prefer finer filtration, and having to clean more often. Why doesn't AquaClear offer fine and coarse foams? Because they are a little coarse, I only gave 4 stars.

Great foam inserts. I rinse them in change water every couple of weeks to keep them bio-active. They keep my water very clear.

Can be cut to any size , does the job well and can be rinsed and reused up to a point depending on your uses. Can go into most filters. I buy this regularly

Works really well. Some of the generic ones don't do as good of a job. These keep the water really clean and can be rinsed and reused.
