The Hulk: A Monster of A Hit!
Green is GOLD for Marvel!!!!When I was little, I remember my oldest sister begging to be allowed to see The Incredible Hulk. She was the Sci-fi person in the house. She used to watch Ultraman and Godzilla - things we as the younger children in the house weren't allowed to see. Bedtime was 7pm and all the scary shows were off limits to our young eyes. My sister Sharon used to run under the bed when Batman came out the cave every episode.Yet I was curious about my older sister's eagerness to watch the "new" show back then and I snuck back down and peered over the banister of the top of the steps to watch David Banner, the nicest and most handsome white man I ever saw turn into this angry huge giant.I don't think my eyes could go any wider as I watched the green giant tear things apart and knock things over. I didn't think that they could ever re-invent "The Hulk."I stand up for Stan Lee. He should be immortalized as a creative genius. He's taken the green giant to a higher level carefully using technology and our imagination to create a story that will blow your mind away. The other Incredible Hulk was only on the borderline that they made a few years ago. This one created under the Marvel Film Studio does justice! True Justice to the legend of this wondrous Super Hero.In this version, they pick up kind of where the one they made a couple of years left off, giving the viewer a way to not have to start at the beginning again, which I liked. Bruce Banner, played by Edward Norton, is on the run from the government and General Ross (William Hurt).Bruce is desperate to get this out of him using any and all natural means to contain his anger so "The Hulk" doesn't take control. He corresponds with "Mr. Blue," played by Tim Blake Nelson to help him out, but in order to do that they need to original data, which means Bruce must "go home." Home meaning back to where he started the experiment. - back to the lab and back to being near his old love, Betty Ross, played by Liv Tyler, who is also General Ross's daughter."His whole body is considered government property," General Ross tells Emil Blonsky, a military mercenary (Tim Roth), who's hired to help capture Bruce.Blonsky sees the beauty of power in "The Hulk" when it takes out his men and picks up forklifts "like softballs." Greed drives him to convince General Ross to give him "a taste" of that power. The taste leads to wanting more and Blonsky convinces "Mr. Blue" to give him some of the blood from Bruce's body. This leads to the horribly morphed monster that now is so enraged, so out of control, the government and General Ross now have to ask Bruce for help. And the pinnacle of this movie is like experiencing visual Ecstasy. The madder the Hulk gets the more you enjoy it.Technology was a beautiful thing in this instance mixed with reality where these two monsters went head to head all over New York City. Tearing, ripping, breaking, growling and just trying to kill each other.Loved IT!!Not only did I enjoy the actors who didn't even make me feel like they were acting, but the synergy with the past, present and even the future of potential sequels, off stories and more were just beautiful. You will not be disappointed and stay until the very end! You won't be disappointed!

bellissimo
